I love it! Kyrie's so sweet! Also, Dante's takedown of the demons was perfect, and I'd probably frame the platter, too. Nice one!

I'm a sap for this kind of story. I have a loving family, and seeing Dante finally finding his family again just warms my heart. I think the characters are spot on, the story is lovely, and good on you for being brave enough to cut it into two chapters!

And then DMC5 happened, hahaha! Anyway, this is a pretty neat look at the characters of those three! Kyrie especially shines here, too! So yeah, would you be interested in making a post-DMC5 sequel to this? :D

Ok, so I faved this a couple of years ago, maybe, and I just reread it for what's probably the 5th or 6th time, and I have to say it's probably one of the best fics I've read here. It's amazing. Everything feels absolutely on point: how the story's subject is dealt with, how the characters are written, how the humor is handled without overshadowing the serious parts of the story... genius, really. It adds so much to all the characters involved, and it also feels so natural to read them act like they do.

TL;DR: you nailed it with everything.

I love this so much. The way you've captured all of the characters' voices is so amazing. Special kudo on Kyrie! God! So many gigs excludes her and write her off and out, but I think this is my favorite rendition of her! Oh God, Dante is already the best kind of Uncle, rn. Having both him and Kyrie double team Nero is a class act! Oh and Nero! He's wonderful, you got him pegged on his attitude. The boy is so whipped, hahha!

It's sad that there isn't more to read from this, but I appreciate what you have. Thank you for writing this!

Holy crap I love this story! Everything from the word choice, the characterization of Dante, Kyrie, and Nero being spot on, and how the issues are dealt all blend together perfectly. I couldn't get enough and it is easily one of my favorites! Kudos to you! 3

Well, I can say that this is different from the usual fare I find on here, and it's the good kind of different.

I'm not entirely sure I fully understand the feelings in Dante's chest, or how they are formed (I thought he had an actual chunk of metal in there, not just emotional baggage) but I did grasp the analogy.

Nero, Kyrie, and Dante's interactions were smooth, engaging, and just a bit of rough around the edges. Those two certainly had a lot of fun at Nero's expenses, and I can just imagine the years stretching ahead of them should Dante continue with the visits.

There isn't much I could say in regards to improving your writing, although I am curious as to where the demons got the idea that Nero was a 'son of Sparda'.

But Dante taking out a horde of demons with a pizza platter and Kyrie deciding to frame it...that was awesome. .

You just know how to make a story hilarious don't you? You should the smile on my face, ear to ear I tell you. And your dialogue, now that is fantastic. Anyways, loved this one and thanks for writing it.

This was really sweet. I really like that this story deals with Dante's emotions because we don't get that from the games. I found the dialogue very realistic, which is something many often struggle to accomplish. Great job!

I like what Nero said to him, about him showing up, just to bolt again, leaving him to try and figure his lineage all alone. I love their conversation on the matter, in general. A lot of conflicting emotions for them both to sort through.

As usual, I love the banter between the two of them, as well. it's actually one of my favourite parts of DMC4.

And seriously laughing at how Nero is getting ganged up on! Oh my god, I'm loving how Kyrie is teasing him, outright, with Dante backing her. of course, it is Nero's fault; he did carelessly blurt that whole "type" thing out, lol. I have to agree with Kyrie; Dante is definitely in his prime. ;)

Glad to see Dante's feeling a bit more at ease. Can't wait to read more.
