please update!
Liana Legaspi chapter 4 . 11/23/2014
That twist was excellent, and I love your portrayal of Saena and the voice you gave her. Great job.
Collaborative Lady chapter 4 . 7/17/2013
Mogami Saena is remarkable in her own psychopathic way. (The detached narrator voice is a thing with you, isn't it. I love it.) Started enjoying her probably from the 2nd chapter. Went *gasp* hoho noooooo... just before the big reveal in the 3rd chapter and was delighted. Final chapter probably most enjoyable, if only from the multiple characters displayed.
Yay!
ChordOverstreetFan chapter 4 . 6/22/2012
That kid would have been messed up if Sho did succeed.
violetdelirium chapter 4 . 8/19/2011
I'm so happy to read a story that shows Mogami Saena as a human being with a lot of pain in her past who doesn't know how to be a mother instead of an evil woman with a plan to destroy Kyoko.

Well done! Plus it does kind of make sense that Kyoko and Sho are siblings. I hope that they realize at some point that they feel that way whether they are in actuality or not.
Mystic Rains chapter 4 . 11/13/2010
My goodness. I love your Sanae Mogami. I've imagined her in the same way you have. Not violent per say, or needlessly cruel; just cold. Cold enough to give Kanae a run for her money.

I do admit though, I wish they hadn't been related. I had to reread Shoutaro's mothers POV to realize it was her. Probably in shock though.
accallia chapter 4 . 1/12/2010
I have seen genius, and it is this fic.
Kou Shun'u chapter 4 . 11/20/2009
and the two finally know. alas..i like sho better than ren- but i wonder how much more would he involve himself in her life knowing this.

and hey did you ever fix the timeline error in the last chapter?
Amanthya chapter 4 . 11/11/2009
You have to pay a lot of attention to fully understand all the little bits of info slipped in to this story, and then when you come to see the big picture at the end you understand how well it unfolds and fits together. Well done. Creative and original, and nixes the chance of SxK in a way never thought of before, without doing anything strange to the relationship they had or have (or fail to have).
Amanthya chapter 1 . 11/11/2009
Wow, Okami-san approached Kyoko's mom, not the other way around. And Saena is perfectly described-she's clinical and unattached, but to everyone, not just her daughter. Interesting.
Siraun chapter 4 . 11/10/2009
Wow, their half-siblings! Youch! Anyways, update real soon. I wanna read more!
whydoyouwanttoknowmyname chapter 1 . 11/10/2009
hello LilyandIvy. I take great offence at people who insult me, even if they don't know me few pointers on the start of your story. Firstly your intro should always be short and sweet of which yours wasn't! Yours was the total opposite! It was long and horrible, not to mention mean. firstly your first erm lines all run into eachother in a bad way i am refering to something i don't even want to type "I feel like a horrible person. Here I am, "Aka-chan" on a temporary hiatus (to be continued when chapter 146 comes out OR when I ascertain Sho and Kyoko's relationship after the V-day arc! I swear!) and I'm publishing a completely different story. Well, what can I say? The idea has been in my head for a long time. Anyway, so I know that I have already attempted a self-insert into a story before, and as some of you have pointed out, that didn't really work out all that well, but hey, back again with more. Tell me what you think!" I'm sorry to have to point this out to you well not really since you blatantly insulted me with out knowing me. anyway your kinda waffling alot your intro is for the story and is meant to be short and sweet. And as an "adult" you should know that insulting your audience is not sweet, it's quite the opposite
piggycat350 chapter 4 . 11/9/2009
nice! interesting twist though i don't think that sho would give kyouko up so easily to ren (maybe someone other then ren...)

well, very nice story all in all
Dark-Subtext chapter 3 . 11/8/2009
(Regards chapter 4)

I strongly disagree with this part: "Her daughter's childhood friend, however, thought for quite some time before he was willing to accept the fact that she was now untouchable to him. And even longer after that before he started silently cheering for Tsuruga Ren to make his move.

Well, what other man would be good enough for his sister? He was a fairly wealthy 'gentleman' with a career that could only take the two of them forward. It wasn't like this bothered him at all. In time, he even forgot that once he had tried so valiantly, and so in vain, to win the one woman he never had a chance with.”

And I’ll argument my reasons for this.

I can’t get this to fit with canon Fuwa Sho(tarou). First of Sho HATES Ren, from the very beginning of the manga he is the enemy. Ren is at the pinnacle of entertainment industry, in the position that Sho wants to hold and we see in the manga that Sho’s dislike of Ren has escalated to going beyond rivalety (ex: see scene in the beginning when he topple the ashtray/garbage can). He does not only dislike Ren’s position as the number one guy, but also his (superior) character, so the idea of him cheering for Ren in any way (unless he is beating up Reino) or seeing him as a possible good match for his ‘half-sister’ just seems completely out of character. Even if he still considered her as his discarded trash I doubt he would be fine with ‘giving her’ to Ren, particulary if this has any possibility of making either of them happy.

Where’s also another reason for my reaction. The relationship between Kyoko and Sho used to be something in-between master-servant and siblings and he commented himself during the PV shooting that he feels that she is his, that he owns her. When he later experiences his ‘position in her heart’ being threatened by Reino and Ren he strongly reacts and responses. He reacts more to Reino trying to ‘steal/take’ his place in her heart, than he did to him stealing his image and songs (and that says a lot). And when Ren makes his intentions clear shortly afterward their previously (pretty much) one-sided rivalry escalates.

Sho in the beginning of the manga views Kyoko as a (sexless) servant/disposable property. During the PV he ‘realizes’ that she is actually a person to not be taken lightly (who knows him better than he likes to admit) and starts for the first time actually viewing her as a female, an attractive one at that and a real rival. He (though at first very unwillingly) is starting to view her in a different light and at the same time remembering their relationship. Examples: His reaction to Kyoko as an angel and crying. His flashback. His reaction to her talking with Ren. His reaction to learning of Kyoko and Ren working in the same serie.

Later when Vie Ghoul (Reino) appears he realized how important Kyoko is to him and seems to decide to start ‘stacking his claim’ to the other ‘players’. Then in recent valentine oriented chapters his ‘feelings’ seems to escalate after he thought that Kyoko might be in a relationship with Reino to an obsession that is in many ways similar to Reino’s form of ‘interest’.

However his obsession and jealousy seems to be about Kyoko’s attention, more than about love or romantic feelings. He seems to have realized and perhaps accepted that Kyoko is no longer in love/infatuated with him and probably will never be again. However this does not seem to be his main concern. He wants Kyoko to be focused on him and as long as she is so focused on him that she holds no interest in others it’s okay, even if her focus is due to hate. Quote ch.148 “Look only at me, so much that you can see nothing else. Follow me wherever I may go. Grow even angrier. So that nothing but me remains in your head. And then - When you’ve become more obsessed with me – than ever before. You shall hate me more and more! (A warped desire to Monopolize her) (He he he) Now Kyoko… THINK OF ME”

Reino’s interest on the other hand seems to have shifted toward something somewhat more romantically focused than his early pshycho-stalker interest. He seems to want a (somewhat twisted) romantic relationship and even admitted indirectly to liking her and wanting her to be his girlfriend (which passed her by completely). He even says that he expects chocolates next Valentine (the next year), so he must be quite invested in it. Though he still has no qualms about how to create the relationship.

All in all Sho considers Kyoko HIS. I don’t think discovering that they are related by blood, her being his half-sister would change his attitude. It might even strengthen it. Based on what I’ve seen of his attitude, reactions, comments and thoughts in canon I’ve gotten the impression that he is very possessive of her and that she is in a way the only other person it the world that he view as ‘real’. She is the only one he seemed to have a close relationship with when they grew up (she was the only girl he called by first name at school) and while he clearly used her, she is at the same time the person in the world that he was closest with, who really knows him (what food he likes, what programs he like and that he shows his true emotions to) and is able to read him. She was the only one he bothered to bring with him and he didn’t dump her as soon as she was no longer necessary.

The only thing I think would change after such a discovery (blood-bond) is that he would remove any sexual aspects from the picture. (While I think he has started to consider this aspect in canon, I think it only plays a secondary role.) She wouldn’t be a possible girlfriend/lover/wife anymore but the blood relationship would tie them together as good if not better than a marriage could and give him a perfect excuse to chase of anyone wooing for his ‘sister’s’ attention. And I think he would be satisfied as long as she stays close to him and her sole focused on him, as long as he monopolizes her.

Man this got way to long.
