This doesn't make any sense, Renly doesn't need Loras, Loras is a third son and has no significant political power of his own. House Tyrell could find value in Renly's schemes without Loras and Renly could write to Mace himself about it. A King's brother has far better and more effective ways to court a Great House's power than seducing their youngest son. Also, there is no place for Loras in the King's guard, it was already full.

GRRM already said their relationship was far from abusive. This strikes me as an overly-edgy exploration of their relationship. I could maybe see Renly using Loras for the attention, or for the sex, but he wasn't using him for power leverage. You seem like one of those people who look down condescendingly on those who see their relationship as being loving and mutual, and see your interpretation as the Canon one. Not a fan!

Very well done, I actually can imagine Renly manipulating Loras like this, Loras always came across a bit like a love-sick puppy when it was about Renly. Good job :)
