Luke and Mara REALLY need to get drunk more often. They're so cute when they are. ) Really, though, I expected Mara to be a bit more experienced of a drinker.

Beautiful first chapter to what sounds like a wonderful story! I have to confess, I'm a HUGE Mara/Luke fan and I've been looking around for their stories. This is one of the few that I've come across that hasn't portrayed them as paper dolls being jerked around on strings. )

honestly im a han and leia fan (check my own fanfics if you need proof...ah! han! yummy!)

ive always kinda avoided anything luke/mara, because in han/leia circles we refer to her as mattress because of her sorry mary sue depiction in the eu.

i got to tell you though, i love the way you wrote her. she actually seemed human. luke, who is rather too much of a whiney naive farmkid for my tastes, actually is resonably enjoyable to read in this story.

i loved your depiction of han and leia. they are always a joy to watch in the films and in fanfic (darn all eu authors! not one that ive read yet has given a darn about their relationship other than destroying it to pieces!). you wrote them sweet and caringly. not at all eu-like, but rather how they were during rotj, which was caring, warm, courageous and always wanting to be together. the eu portrays them as cold people on opposite sides of the galaxy.

so keep writing. there is a ring inside that envelope isnt there?
