Very good start! It's always good to keep us readers intrigued by not explaining/stating everything but instead just showing (and of course, we found out England and America's relationship through their interaction). Plus, I like how you hinted England's desire for America as he unintentionally thinks dirty thoughts throughout the fic, which is much better than blatantly stating that he has a thing for America and allows us to sympathize. And, of course, the plot is original despite America being a hero and doesn't waste time with giving episodes of his heroics but immediately dives into the problem, which brings England and America together again (rather than random encounters/coincidence because it's England's choice to finally contact him to warn him). It's so much stronger when characters' choices create consequences, and I bet England's bitting the bullet by going behind the other detectives' backs... I hope to see that despite France's indifference towards work (which suits France so much) he will do something like, say, spy behind England's back (with Canada? and China?).

In short, definitely one of the better fanfics on with a lot of potential, which I shall be amiably stalking. :) Please continue!

I have to admitt it, my knowledge of Hetlia is almost null. Despite this, I'm falling head over heels for this story the way that Britain has fallen for America.

You've won me over to your side and I want more. I want to see all the cute romance and loving that's a trademark of this chapter. I want to see France molest Canada and Britian to work himself to the bone.

And that hero with the hood, is that actually Russia? I suppose I'll fine out.

superheroes au! who. i find this very well written. :) i also this a little heartbreaking on england's part and this chapter (specifically, the last part) left me curious about the reasons why america decided to leave the police force (but i have an inkling. some of the people in the police force are jerks? as implied by that newspaper article).

and oh, the summary! now what would england do? :3 btw, i LIKED the last part. i feel that it's the best way to end this chapter: a short bit of backflash that somewhat answers (confirms that america was really a cop before and damn, the last line!) but ultimately burdens the readers with more questions (at least for me. but i'm a nosy person).
