Hello there, I don't know you will read this or not, but I really like your story, it's amazing and wonderful, I like that their relationship is not just for one night, you describe them really good, Tomoe really loves kenshin because who he is and completely understands him not just pretend to understand like kauro and other dojo's residences,they just pretend to understand but ... I don't like kenshin /kauro because they can't match, kauro has not any understanding of kenshin she just like his looks,plus I think rurouni is just a mask not kenshin's true self,he somehow hide behind it, well I like it that Battosai lust over Tomoe and wants her ,it's intriguing to know what would happen and how would be Tomoe's reaction? Hmm it's good to torture them a little ;-) I like to see more of kenshin's and Tomoe's personality and their reactions,thoughts,feelings,understanding,... I really enjoyed this, I hope you continue, if you read this I would be happy to know and see an answer,

Great story a shame you never finished it as despite everything you already have going on, I'm also interested in how Hiko would of gotten involved. You've left it right before Kenshin would of confronted Tatsumi perhaps that's also how Hiko would of been involved by helping his idiot apprentice out against Tatsumi and his ninjas.

I do like how you've pointed out something a lot of people seem to fail to comprehend is that the majority of kills carried out by Hitokiri's/manslayers or people/soldiers that eventually get given such a title is because they are just very skilled and basically they don't get beaten/killed and so they continue to fight but basically everyone they fight/kill would of gladly spilled their blood if given the chance including Kiyosato (obviously there are exceptions as some get blood crazed after a while).

I've been a RK-Fan since childhood, you could say that I grew up with RK and RoV (I'm 22 years now, quite long, heh?). Nearly 9 Years after I watched Tsuiokuhen, I decided to watch it again and I was moved/shocked/touched as if I've seen it for first time. But somehow it wasn't enough. That's why I started to search for a fanfiction that takes up this ova and goes deeper into the storyline. And I'm really happy that Ive come across your ff. As soon I started reading, I couldn't stop. I really love your writing style. I've just finished reading chapter 3, unfortunatly there is just 1 chapter to go. I really do hope you would continue writing. Thanks for sharing your hard work with us RK-Fans.

PS: Sorry for my english. Unfortunately it's not my motherlanguage. I'm half chinese and half vietnamese, but was born and live in Germany, that's why my english is not that perfect.

I read the first chapter. I like the idea, but I think your execution could use some work. I see that you yourself think that you would rewrite it, so I will just leave some of my impressions. Kenshin and Tomoe are too talkative. In the manga and OVAs, they talk very little, and the moments in which they do talk are very powerful. Your grammar could use some work, and a beta reader would probably help a lot. Finally some specific criticisms.

"his pacifistic face trying to assess the damage done by the heavy shower" what is going on in this sentence? A lot of the time when people talk, there words give away their tone of voice, and you don't have to say how they said something. Show the reader, don't tell them.

Its a nice story... personally I think Kenshin and Tomoe are way too talkative ... perhaps you could experiment with using a more intimate register for communication such as reading a look or a touch of the hand... i know thats difficult to work with but I think their relationship is characterized by ambiguity and uncertainity... which is what makes it more interesting than your standard love story of things working out...

I think you were able to capture that but I think there was far too much 'certainty' as you got towards the end of chapters especially when Kenshin professed his love vocally to Tomoe in ch 2... which I think he'd never do... but he would SHOW it and she would get it... which she does...

You have a nice writing style but I think a stronger focus on characterization could help kick it up another level

Watsuki's original work had Tomoe and Kenshin married for real he actually says to her that he doesn't want it to be just for appearances...

I really like how you have fleshed out the relationship between Tomoe and Kenshin. I am disappointed that it looks like you haven't update in more than a year. Is this story still in the works or is it ending here?

That was the greatest fanfiction I have ever read in my life. The details were breathtaking. And the characters! Kenshin... His role was amazing. his thoughts, his passion towards Tomoe, was depicted beautifully.

Anyhow, I am so happy I found a awesome Kenshin/Tomoe fic. The choices for K/T are quite limited. There are way to many Kenshin/Kaoru Fics. Me in Particular, I dont like Kaoru. She doesn't love Kenshin if you think about it. She loves the vagabond Kenshin. But despises what he truly is, Battousai. And if you think about it, that would only be loving half of him. Which isn't love at all.

Tomoe. OMFG. To comment what I said above, unlike Kaoru, she definately loved all of Kenshin. His flaws. His beauty. She understands he is human!
