Wow... I really love this story.

That was amazing! I love how you do it in Trini's piont of view and how you got her character right! I also love the idea of Tommy/Trini, even though I've seen not that much scene time of them together or just talking. Yeah, Tommy should have jut talk to Kimberly about the Letter face-to-face. Overall-just amazing!

That line made me cried. Great work, The emotion that Tri is feeling for the beginning I can feel. You made Tri alive. This was a great tribute to Thuy Trang.

What a bittersweet story. I'm left not really knowing how to feel. I feel happy for Kimberly, but kind of sad for Trini, yet still happy for her as well. Good job with mixing the emotions within the characters as well as the reader.

I've never read a Trini/Tommy story before, nor did I ever imagine she'd take an interest in him, but I really like how you make her affection for him subtle, as she knows she can never be with him.

I like your approach on how she comes to realize her feelings for him, being much more gradual than Kimberly who fell for him the first day she met him. I think that is very true to Trini's character. Throughout the whole story you capture Trini's character perfectly. I especially like the part where she thinks of the reasons she can never be with Tommy, one of them being her friendship with Kimberly. Trini always was a selfless person, which really shows through at the end, making her a true hero.

I personally liked it. Although I rarely see anyone try to write this relationship. Actually I think this the first Trini in love with Tommy that I have ever seen. But it is good, it's been years since I've seen the show (too my great regret I miss it terribly, but they rarely do repeats of the original, through ninja through Zeo which were the ones I remember the most.) but I believe you were true to the characters. You wrote Trini exactly as the strong brave graceful woman I remember as. And I appriecate it. If you get any flames on this fic, ignore them, the fic was great.

I like your view on the infamous "Letter" as well. And to be honest I saw the incident the same way you did. There may have been a secondary reason for it other than "I met somebody else".

Not that it is implausible but look at the stress they were both under. Tommy in Angel Grove and Kimberly with her gymnastics, the idea of her set him free, because of stress and so on is possible.

I like how you did it, especially with the idea of Trini stepping back and trying to do "The right thing". Figure out what is going on before leaping to conclusions and "Taking advantage" Which is how she saw it. And the way it came out in the end. I loved the fic beginning to finish.

GOOD STORY

This was an expected pairing... but I like the story! It was a little suprising that you paired Trini and Tommy but you did a good job with it.

A very touching story. This isn't the first time I've read it, but I'm still impressed. I have a DVD with the Venus Island episode, and I saw it with new eyes after reading your story. I have to admit that when I first got the plot, it seemed pretty unlikley. I mean, TOMMY and TRINI! That moment in that episode is, to my knowledge, the ONLY screen-time they had when it was just the two of them-and you turned it into a whole story! Yet when I watch it now, I can see-just-a glimmer of what you saw.

One of the true tests of a good fanfiction writer, in my opinion, is: Can they take a non-canon element, ESPECIALLY a non-canon relationship, and make it believable? You certainly did in this fic! Congratulations!
