ERMAGEEEERD THIS CHAPTER. So good, so fitting with your characters. incredible writing, all the feels!

Ok I'm still catching up on this incredibly well written fiction (where has this been all my life?).
love the characterization, the plot, I ADORE that it's not just your average teenage angst romance, that they're older and have all that backstory we're learning about.
Last chapter was incredible: that snog was... HAWWWT and Bill and Charlie murdered me, it was so GOOD, and made me realize how much their relationship as the two oldest Weasley siblings isn't explored enough omg, especially when their only other brothers for a while were percy and then the twins, it just makes sense that their brotherly bond would be extremely strong.
I usually don't comment until I'm done catching up when I'm "binging" a new fic but this chapter is giving me all the "OMG is Lavender the angel of mercy?" feels! The timeline, her miraculous recovery, her fascination with magical objects and healing and incurable diseases, the fact that we know the killer didn't want to kill Rose, and how her reaction to Scorpius's question re Rose's guilt are just a LOT of red flags...
I also love the idea of a "good guy" driven mad to evil from the traumatic experience she had during and post-war, thinking it's sometimes better to die than live without a chance for a normal life or smth along those lines...
Love it, love it!

One thing I still find weird: Rose being a Slytherin. And not because "Slytherin is evil" or anything like thatbut I've always felt like house traits are highlighted when facing truly hardcore situations and Rose's reaction and decision to go TOWARDS danger in the ward just screamed any other house for me (I could justify Gryffindor because courage, Hufflepuff because compassion to save someone potentially in danger, or even Ravenclaw in the way she analysed the ward and the flickering light etc.). But there was absolutely NO Slytherin there because she had zero self-preservation. Same for her chaotic career moves, doesn't scream Slytherin ambition... so that one is still odd to me, other than that its PERFECT!

Loved it! Been waiting for Rose to realise her feelings since the start :) but I feel this is going at a good, believable pace. Can't wait to see Lucius and Narcissa's reactions :) x

So much of the good stuff in this chapter. Super happy we got some rose/sorpius action but my favourite thing is the character development Rose has gone through. She's still herself but unapologetic about it now and accepts herself which is wonderful...but it's also nice to see her awareness of feelings, behaviours and the world around her improve too. Great work, cant wait to find out about this dagger!

I’m kinda a new reader, I just started reading this story around this or end of last year (?) but boy oh boy, this fic is so freakin good! I absolutely adore all the characterization of each of the characters, but especially I love Scorpius’ and Hermione‘s (although not to take anything away from the others’, like Jane is hilarious!)~

Which brings me to this chapter. I am completely in love with the progression of Rose and Scorp’s relationship, nothing seemed rushed and everything happened at just the right pacing, keeping us on the edge, yet giving us a satisfactory pay off. I really appreciate this attention to story and plot beats, because it keeps me engaged as an audience.

Also, with the whole Lily shenanigans, it’s a really interesting sub-plot IMO. I kinda get a “two sides of the same coin” vibe from these two, being that both are so blunt and are always saying exactly what they think, no matter how rude. But, Lily does it bcs she wants to be seen as perfect (when she knows that she’s not), whereas Rose does to appear like she’s the bad guy who doesn’t care jack shit about people’s opinion (when she has a ton of insecurities about how she’s perceived). By having Lily as an “antagonist”, I think that it plays off against Rose’s character beautifully. I’m so impressed with this kind of meticulous writing, one that pays attention to subtle details to the characterization. So excited to see what will come next in this sub-plot!

Well anyway, sorry for this long essay of a review, I’m just so excited about good writing like this and always wanna peel it apart and analyse it myself lol. Keep up the good work! Can’t wait for the next one :))

Yes! Oh, man, I'm so stoked that Rose is finally figuring it all out! A little less stoked that the Lily drama is still happening, but I still find myself grinning at the end of this chapter just by how good Scorpius and Rose are together. Can't wait to see how the story continues!

Loved loved loved this new chapter! I was dying for it! Re-reading old one! I am so excited you keep giving us more chapters! It’s so so so rare to find an AMAZING Rose and Scorpius story, and so well written! Seriously made my weekend! Loved all the tender moments between Rose and Scorpius, loved that she pushed him in the lake! Love that Draco walked in on them! I laughed so hard at that part. I would love a little spin off of the convo Draco and Hemione had when he figured out Scorpius loves Rose & after he walk in on them! Having that point of view would just be amazing!

I think the way you wrote this coming together was so so right. I loved it so much. And the END WITH LILY omg that was so good - put her in her place! I am so ready for more fluffy rose and Scorpius
