Which I'm waiting for. Loving the story so far.

I've read it over and over the last few years and never left any review. Something beautifully raw, and wonderful world building.

I guess it's probably not wrong to assume that this story is on a LONG hiatus. ;_; (I'm not actually going to cry because I wasted all my tears on your beautifully, heart-wrenching story... But I'm dying on the inside nonetheless. UPDATE, PLEASE! ToT)

Just so you know, "pr*stitute" is a slur used to criminalize - "sex worker" is better.

This is the best love story I have ever read, hands-down.

I just found this story today and have been glued to my screen. It broke my heart. There were several chapters where I just cried, and cried, and cried some more. Absolutely brilliant, I really, really loved it.

God, you wrote them so beautifully, and I haven't seen all of District 9 (I don't know if I will watch the rest, the Prawns are treated so horribly and humans are scum, honestly), but god this story was amazing. I don't really know what to do with myself now! I hope your muse will return sometime as I look forward to reading more of this story, but it's ok if you don't wish to continue (sobs), I'm just glad this last chapter ended somewhat happy! *cries more* I just really wanna give Christopher a huge cuddle!

Aw lawd...I can't even begin to tell you how much your story captivated me. I swear, with every chapter I read, it broke my heart more and more. Their emotions are so complex and real it's impossible to not empathize with them if only just a little bit. Will you ever continue it? I will be forever thinking about it :D

Everything about this story is totally amazing - the plot, the characters, the imagery, the sex, the emotions, the confusion ... I could go on and on. It sweeps the reader away, you're right there, and its all so beautifully done. Great job - really look forward to being swept away again by the next chapter :-)

I don't often venture out of my home fandom. Not out of lack of interest, but rather time. But you mentioned this fic on your journal the other day, and I was reminded how much I enjoyed District 9, and knowing how much I love your writing style, I had to give this a try. I read through the entire story in one sitting, staying up far later than I should on a work night when I had to be up by 5!

Oh was it worth the lack of sleep. Highly erotic, intensely alien and disturbing in all the right ways. I love the transformation of Wikus' perceptions even as his body transforms. Christopher changes from something horrid, monstrous, to beautiful in 'his' intensely alien manner.

I loved the ideas regarding their culture, sexuality, traumatic insemination, and, just as with the movie, the sense of who the real monsters are in this story.

I'm really looking forward to more of this if you ever choose to treat us to it! And now I may need to go searching for more D9 fic
