I finally finished this and I loved it. I like that you took things slow and dealt with Hermione's trauma.

Having started reading this story years ago and only now finishing it, I feel it would be proper to review it.
My feelings are very mixed. On the one hand, this started off with promise and was going smoothly. You are a great writer, do not think otherwise. However, the deeper the plot became, the bigger the mess left behind. Once a relationship was established between Snape and Hermione the story as a whole took a turn for the worse. It seemed this was being continued for the sake of some sex scenes as opposed to finishing what was started. There were still several good moments throughout, but I definitely felt a shift in the purpose and style of the whole story.
Another issue I have is the characters. At the beginning they stayed fairly close to their book/movie counterparts. But again, the deeper we dove in, the less accurate they were portrayed. It is your right as the author of this fic to write them however you wish, but some characters, namely Ron and Harry, kept switching from understanding, kind, and wanting to help to being complete jerks for no reason other than pushing Hermione back to Snape. It was a tad confusing to follow as you never knew whether they would be a friend to her or harm her further.
All in all I think you have potential and are a good writer. I just think that this particular story spiralled out of control the more complex it grew. Although it has been about seven years since this was completed, so perhaps you have new fics I can check out. Anyway, sorry for the very lengthy review.

I can read this anymore...i cant even FATHOM how you could write about Hermione being raped and then continuing to ue the SAME tacticts Victor used on her that she is now using on Severus...kissing him after he tells her they musnt...all but forcinf him to dmit to feelings he said he COULDNT have...assaulting him...while drunk...then proceeds to cry about it after he kisses her back...the him twlling her "no" is this chapter..that they need to stop...and she doesnt...I actually feel sick that this is the way its writtwn..its goinf back and forth..Hermione will complain and be depressed about her horrible accident and do the exact same thi gs to a man trying to help her and expects him to be ok with it and then cries when she does t get her own way...as ive said before, good luck ok, but PLEASE...fix this up..

She wants to resume a friendship with him after assualting him...during her drunkeness..just like Victor...who she hates and will not forgive...yet wants this from Severus...the irony...is great...wtf...

I thought the concept of the book was going to be interesting...and it is.. but I am not going to sugar coat he fact thst it is written...horribly...in this chapter alone she accuses Dumbledore for not doing anything to Victor yet in the chapters before states she wanted it to be that way...the characters are so bloody OOC you cannot even tell who they are and Hermione..brave Griffindore Hermione is acting like someone she is not..even after a rape...I feel thst if you spent more time planning the story and learning the characters it would not turn into a big..cringy mess...I love Severus and Hermione as a ship...i really do..but this is destroying it...good luck in the future and your written work.

You said you got a flame, so I assume it was in response to the previous chapter. I read all the reviews of Ch. 17, and the only review that sounded even remotely un-positive was Levan's. I'm sorry, but I would not call that a flame. Not by a long shot. A flame is a negative review, not a constructive criticism.

It would be a LOT easier if you simply told us the exact title of the video and the name of the Youtube user who posted it. It's difficult to try to type out all of that nonsense and do it in exact order.
