This was a gorgeous Buffy/Spike hit for me - but also I love your writing - full of delicate insights into the characters of early season six and Spike-Buffy sharp-talk. And I thought it was a beautiful story.

I really liked this piece of work. Alot of this puts me in mind to the gaps of time between episodes and what may have went on between b/s. It was classic the way he told her to get over herself. Too bad no one has told her that on the show. You write in a good, even pace and follow logical courses of thought. you dont jump around either. gotta read the rest of yours.

I want to use words like 'beautiful' and 'ethereal' but I'm sure you get bombarded with those.

They really do apply though, I love the unique atmosphere you manage to so effortlessly create and the way you keep the tone and characterisation.

Anyway enough of that - I'm off to read sequel.

WoW... One of the best things I read. It's just brilliant, the writing is so beautiful, the story is sad, and depressing, and warm, and tender, and everything else, all at the same time... I love the atmosphere, you describe it so well... What can I say? Perfection.

An amazing story...just wonderful. The simplistic writing and sparse atmosphere...Everything just worked. Great job...wow.

This was a very interesting story. I've been to New Orleans and can picure it all. Poor Spike.

That was sooo good but the end was so depressing, I wanted to kick Buffy in the head. Ugh. But that was excellent, write more!

This is my new favourite story! I took a field trip to Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square in October; they have the best beignets. :)Anyway, this going on my favourite stories list. Great story; possibly a sequel?
