I thought the surprised for Niles was going to be shares in Sheffield-Babcock Productions (although, that would get sticky if Max and CC disagreed on something, and Niles had the deciding vote!)

I love that CC is the well-off and financially savvy one in the relationship, and that she has power over how rich Niles becomes. Everyone makes a big deal of the servant/socialite thing, but I also think a part of her likes having a lover/husband she feels she has some "power" over. And he is certainly willy to "serve" her (as we heard her say in The Baby Shower.)

Because we have no idea how they get from fighting and quitting to in bed together in The Dummy Twins, and because there doesn't seem to be enough time for it to happen, I had this idea that they actually got along very well on their dinner date, planned to spend the night together, and staged the whole fight for the Sheffields' benefit. I can't come up with a very good reason for doing that, but maybe, to scare Max into giving one or both of them something like this, or treating them differently, by making him think he was losing them?

Wow! I just happened to click on your name when I was on the Dallas page and it took me to your list of stories where I found this little gem. You write CC & Niles just as well as you do JR and Sue Ellen...FANTASTIC! This was so true to the storyline of the finale and an excellent read from beginning to end.

Hope you are doing well. Looking forward to an update to "Wild Is the Wind" soon I hope. You have tortured poor JR worrying about wearing his wedding rings long enough. ;) Of course, I also hope "Paris Nights" becomes reality one day as well. I still get teary eyed every time I read "London Rain".

This was one of the best stories I've read on on N/CC, There's defintely not enough post wedding stories on here, and I just love the stories about right after their wedding! You wrote them beautifully! Kudos!
