The not very subtle hints of infatuation toward Naruto are disappointing. I can't see this Hinata, who is far more mature and confident and has different values seeing someone like Naruto as anything more than a little brother with how immature and incompetent he acts, even with undertones of untapped potential.

Danzo suspecting her but not sending his own men to just take care of it after Hiruzen refuses? Right... That's the whole point of Root, and part of the reason Hiruzen tolerates it, to do the dirty work he can't or won't be associated with. Hiruzen says don't kill the Uchiha, try Shisui's eye first; Danzo kills Shisui, takes his eye, commands Itachi to kill the Uchiha without even informing Hiruzen till after it's already done. Clearly if he's willing to do that, sending some Root after an outsider despite Hiruzen is nothing. Hell, I doubt he'd even discuss something so "minor" with Hiruzen before she had an "accident". Even if she got away or repelled the attack, that'd be all the proof he needed, and if she was innocent, oh well, it was a risk.

Also, fine, Kemui is one of Cloud's greatest, sure, but so easily outplaying and deceiving Itachi both in wits and battle? That's just too much. There's a few who can beat him, but all of those few would have to work for it. How this really goes, "His Sharingan went straight to her steel colored eyes... her vision goes red as she's trapped in the world of Tsukiyomi (there's no way he wouldn't use it since he just recognized her as powerful)" and then she's dead. Well, unless that whole red ring thing her eye has is a dojutsu of a high enough caliber to cancel out Tsukiyomi, or she went Deidora style and trained her eyes over years specifically to counter it, thus making her even more OP.

Aside from being AU, what was the rational, if it exists, that such an extremely overpowered person exists in Cloud but didn't make a difference? Or rather, how was Hinata being kidnapped explain her existence? Was the whole thing with Nibi supposed to be her death if Hinata wasn't there to change the flow? Otherwise, I can't see why Raikage wouldn't just have her kill all his enemies; she can apparently kill a Kage in front of his guards and get away unseen, what reason would there be to not do it to everyone? I don't mind an OC being strong even to the point of OP, but there's a line where it becomes "well why don't they just conquer the world then?" and stops being immersive when they aren't doing that.

For a story with the premise of Hinata being successfully kidnapped there sure is very little Hinata, and for a story without even having the OC tag, there sure is a lot of focus on an overpowered OC we actually know very little about other than she can just "do" these things. Story description should reflect that better.

Other than Kemui being too good to be believable, at the very least without the character development to back it up, the story isn't that bad. Especially when inconsistency with canon can be explained by being started in 2009, but the whole "assassin" thing being different than Shinobi, even though that's what the A in ANBU is, is kinda dragging it down.

I honestly bit the bullet and made an account after years of not doing so because I've been following this story manually since the very first chapter! I've been quite honestly checking in on this story every day just to see if it updated because I love it so much! Hinata is my favorite character so I'm always searching around for Hinata centric fanfics and I gotta say, out of the many, many, MANY I've read, this one has always been my favorite. I kinda put it as a bar of sorts lol like, 'this story seems good, but is it WYCH good?' Honestly, when the data book came out with Hinata's CANON element affinities being both fire AND lightning, it tickled me because I IMMEDIATELY thought 'OH! IT CAN TIE INTO WYCH!'
anyways, I DO have a quick question: Will Yorihi be taught the Raikage's lightning armor jutsu? I've always wondered if she's ever been taught any specific thing from her father (The thought of her doing 'Liger bomb' is hilarious to me)

is Yorihi going to be able to learn the lightning armor that the Raikage does? because that would be AWESOME. I love seeing all the little quirks and attitude that she got from him and I think it would be pretty cool to see a jutsu he taught her as well!

You still make it hard for me to review cause I honestly can’t fault your writing. I would like the plot to move further along but that would mean faster updates at best or compromised story line at worst so... great work as always and I hope there’s more to come soon.

Hi! I just came to say that I enjoy your story and concept very much! But, I can't continue to read it as there is an issue I have with your writing style. You're too descriptive. You dwell too much on information that doesn't matter, and because of that, it can be a drag to read through the sentences. You seem to have an issue with using simple sentences such as, "She picked up a cigarette." Or using names of the characters to tell us what their action is. You need to learn how to balance using short simple sentences and long descriptive ones. It helps tell the reader which information is important to digest, and with the way you write now, it's hard to process what is going on at the moment. I repeatedly had to re-read your sentences over and over because I couldn't process what exactly it is you were trying to convey in your passages. When you are writing your chapters, ask yourself this the next time you are describing what is going on, "Is this really important for the reader to know?" If the answer is no, keep the sentence short and simple or don't include it at all. We can generally connect the dots of what the mood is, so you don't have dwell on a single scene or what the characters are wearing. We also know the characters you previously introduced so you don't have to re-describe them every time they re-appear. Use your descriptors to enhance the action, not to hold it back or drag it down. Save the long ones for what really matters, it helps the story flow better. Also, it is okay to use simple sentences, the characters names, and he/her repeatedly. You keep abusing the characters hair and eye colors and it's grating to read over and over again. I hope I'm not being seen as a hater or whatever because I really do love your story, it's just that the way it is written is kind of a pain in the ass to read through. I sincerely hope you can at least consider my suggestion, I wish you the best!

I luv you. This was a great chapter. Kemui just couldn't catch a break. It was great to see Oku's traps used in the middle of the village. And see Kemui let lose her temper on the hokage was awesome. I also like how the people who met her years ago are all coming around to let her know that hey we know. I can't wait for moms reaction when her son shows up though. Thank again for a wonderful good time.

Darn, Danzo unlocked his arm beforehand, I was hoping he was going to have to use Shisui's and then unlock then others as Kemui regrouped him being alive. She was injured so he might have been able to unlock the thing before she could kill him again... maybe. Lacking that eye would have a rather large impact on things later down stream, then again if Kemui gets up to at least 80% she might just take the old spider out during the Crush.

Why do I have the sinking feeling that the 3rd isn't going to DO anything to save himself or his village a lot of pain because he is going to far too stubborn? Then again, it just leads to an ever more likelihood that the Raikage is going to be pulled into their fight.

Though if he is, I wonder if he will stop the 3rds death unless attacked? Once he gets the full report from both Kemui and his daughter he might just decided to allow the old food to die in the hopes of a more worthy foe... or save the man in hopes that the moron keeps letting the Leaf get ever weaker for when he decides to take over the world at a later date, not sure witch.

Wonder what the old Toad is thinking though, he is the major wild card, and powerful as he is and with what he might know from his spies, he could be about the only thing keeping a lid this brewing conflict that the Konoha seems hell bent on starting, just to keep Kumo from starting it first, even though Kumo wasn't planning on starting one!

What a day. actually the entire time they have been at leaf has just been one bad day after another. wow.

I have no sympathy for Hiruzen here. He let personal bias and laxness (not rechecking the paperwork) blind him. he spent the entire time snubbing the Kumo party. granted I'm not too sure how much was because antagonistic behavior and what was merely bias.

Tsume is rather hilarious and spot on. she is in a rather uncomfortable position.

the third exam is going to be an absolute political train wreck. in cannon everything was mostly fine because the only combatants were invaders and defenders here cloud is a bystander and leaf is going to hurt for letting such a massive security breach happen, if it happens.

Poor Naruto, life's just not fair sometimes. Wow, Sakura's mother dropped the ball here. not only is her daughter burning up but she has strange marking on her arm. come on, you parent! you live in a ninja village and your daughter is a ninja! you should really get that looked at!

what have you done A? this sounds like something that destroys everything!
