I have no idea if you'll get this message, given how long it took me to find this story, but on the off chance you do I want to say this.

Thank you for writing it- I've been reading nonstop for at least the last three days and I am completely and totally in love with your story. Naoto and Kanji's characters are spot on, and I really appreciated how you portrayed their struggles with their own identities. The fact they both decided they were somewhere in between was a conclusion I particularly loved, and I look forward to rereading this once I've completed the game myself.

This was probly one of the best fanfics I've ever read and THE BEST Kanji/Naoto fic made. Tis a pitty that such an amazing piece of work lies abbandoned when it's sooo close to the finish line. R.I.P.

P.S. I've found out about this fic from some author on ArchiveOfOurOwn who said he was inspired by your work. The fact that you were able to inspire someone else to create their own works is both beautiful and saddening, since your Magnum Opus will probably be never finished. But still... I really liked this fic. The way you wrote the relationship between Naoto and Kanji as bumpy with both needing to weed their issueseven after becoming together, without portraying love as the solve-it-all for their particularly messed psyches strikes me as quite realistic and endearing.
Pity that this fic has been left abandoned witout a resolution for so long. If someday you decide to come back and finish it (or at least tell us what was your planned conclusion), we ill be waiting.

Welp, it is day 2, and I'm already at chapter 33 on a 300K word story. It is so good. I have been searching far and wide for a naoto/kanji fic that spans the game, and this fits the bill perfectly! I think I'm done for the day, but I had to pop you a note letting you know how much I'm enjoying this. It's funnier than the game, I love Teddie, and thanks for keeping everyone in character. :)
