I’ll be honestly I read this mostly out of curiosity and it was beautiful written and by god I was nauseated by the twist (in a good way?) and just felt this dread of how the characters have suffered. Arthur didn’t truly know what he had given up until he had lost it completely (or rather him).

This strikes me in a very Real way. God, what a mess love is. It's like every love leads a wire and there always something getting cut up or strangled

Such a different approach, such a brilliant and beautiful story.

Ok so at first I was like wait is this an Arthur/Merlin? But nooooo it was so much better! You destroyed the other one boum! And bring it on Mordred my boyyy! In summary: Yes.

Every time I read this fic, it feels as though I'm reading it anew, for the first time. Each
word appears to have been chosen with the utmost care and I am forever in awe at the command you have over the English language. I can only imagine how skilled a writer you will be in the far future - one of the best I would assume.

Thank you for writing this fic; it is one of my absolute favorites. And I will definitely be looking at more of your works.
