Good story, shame it was never updated

This is a great story line.
I hope you get to pick it up again sometime.

I know I'm far late to the party and that it's been years since this fic was last updated, but I have to commend you on this work here - masterpieceful work at that. It's far better than the crap Halo 4 released, assuredly, and more believable than the push from 343i with 'oh, we hacked one computer and 'erased' the existence of our Innie worlds, therefore we still exist and nobody checked a clerical error when reporting the supposed 'glassing' of our planets by Covies'.

Love the handling with the crossover and it's VERY believable that there was an early separatist group eking it out StarCraft style that became Firefly's verse apart from the Halo one, and it's a giant conspiracy that is just getting cooked up. All the same, I hope things are going good for you and your family, and hope that there's an eventual pulse on this story again. So much great potential and moments (John's rescuing Kaylee, the ground skirmish, the UNSC-Alliance-Firefly interaction)!

I was liking your story at first and then I realized you humanized Master Chief. Having him act like a normal person is not part of his character. He's a sociopath and a man of very few words.

If you've read none of the literature and only played the games you are partially forgiven. Even while playing the games one could figure out the Master Chief is not good at normal conversation and you have him carrying like a normal person.

I am liking what I'm reading, however, you last update was in 2011. Please continue this story.

This is a great story so far, but I do have to point out that you are terrible at using apostrophes. general rulesDon't use an apostrophe is there is no ownership, or word merging (dogs, tails, marines, etcUse an apostrophe if the word is actually 2 words (I'dI wouldUse an apostrophe if the subject is owning something (dog's tailUse an apostrophe if multiple subjects are owning something(sthe marines' tank) or (the marines' guns) Hopefully this helps.

Ah well. It was a great story and finished way better than some others I've seen. You've done good work and I don't have anything negative to say about it, the few errors you made in the beginning were non-existent closer to the end.

Clearly finished the story before halo 4 came out. Ah well it was fun while it lasted.

Oh I hope that Master Chief and the ODST's kick some serious ass. I hope their are enough soldiers to make it a fair fight.

Why do I get the strange and horrible feeling that what happened with River was the result of the Alliance trying to create their own SPARTAN program after seeing the success of the SPARTAN II's?

And why have you abandon this fic.
