Your story is one of my favorite from Half-life 2 fanfiction. I like the way you write about Half-Life 2 world and how you describe Gordon and Alyx. Great how you write abot their relathionship - it's something what you can really feel, not just read...
Interesting and at the same time fearful how you explained why Gordon is always silent. And the scene in D-8 was really awful, I was even shocked when I was reading it.

Please, continue your great work, I am hoping to see the next chapter!

excellent story

I remember reading this one a few years ago. It remained in my head until I stopped playing the Half Life series and moved onto something else.

Recently, I found a copy of The Orange Box, and as soon as I began playing Half Life 2 as well as its sequels, I remembered this fic and it was all I could think about.
I searched the Half Life catagory from the very beginning to find this again.

It's sad to see that it's discontinued, because it was just so good and plays along so well.

Oh well, I'm just glad I know where it is now.

Brilliant, honestly, just bloody brilliant. There isn't much more I can say without rambling on about it.

I realized that you'll probably never finish this and it's also very likely you'll never read this review, but I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed the chapters you have written. This is one of those rare Half Life fanfics that is actually really good. Even then I feel I'm understating how amazing this story is. I also must admit that I've now accepted the Selective Mutism as cannon, because I always personally liked the idea that Freeman was unable to talk.

This was amazing! Especially the use of an actual anxiety disorder to dispell the awkwardness that comes from writing Gordon in character. No wonder this was on TvTropes. I hope you continue one day.

This seems like a real interesting story, thats why i'm adding it to my alert list! And you know? I liked it so much that it also goies into my favs!

I like how we got to see a part of why Gordon isn't speaking, and its quite sad chapter too. But, perhaps, The G-Man isn't evil? Maybe yes, Maybe no.
