The imagery of Granmammare appearing in the reflection and smiling is just stunning. The moments you crafted developing their relationship - with a younger, flighty Granmammare and the hesitant Fuji are also wonderful.

The father appeared rather suddenly as a deus ex machina solution, and I would perhaps have liked more moments between the two, but on the whole I've no complaints.

Fujimoto's past is just begging to be written, and here you did a fantastic, if concise job. And really, that's the way to go about writing such enigmatic, mythical characters, isn't it?
