Wow, that was pretty intense. I loved your Fran/Balthier scene, especially the beautiful Viera language you made up.

My opinion on the canon resembles yours: status aliments and severe wounds cannot be healed simply with potions and magics, not in fanfiction, at least, because that'd be too easy.

I was amused by the fact that Fran found Vaan's voice so aggravating. :D

On a side note, shouldn't the rating for this be a little bit higher?

Offended? How could I be offended by such an entertaining story? In fact I'm hugely flattered that the idea and concept of 'Questionable Status' inspired you to write this.

One question though; do you invent the Vieran words yourself, or does Vieran have its own dictionary I'm just not aware of? Frankly if you invent the words yourself, my hat goes off to you, as it's very innovative and the notion that Balthier has learnt Fran's native tongue is very, very pleasing.

You have a wonderful talent for writing a very convincing and intimate side to Balthier and Fran's 'partnership' and I look forward to your next offering.

I would never call this plagiarism at all dear as it is well constructed and not to mention its your own idea, even if it was inspired by another fic it is still in your own words. BTW, I might consider changing the rating a bit but other than that its really good

Beautiful in its complexity and rich images, here I am presented with so many subtle references to vieran culture, so many small details to ponder that bloom when I think of the possibilities, it's no wonder I believe I may well have found a new favorite among your works.
