I just reread this since a long time ago and I realized that you might want to change things to make sense (or since this is an old story anyway, you might not care). Cause in this fic when Arthur's looking for something to save marlin in Merlin's room, he mentions Morgana talking about hiding a druid boy behind a dressing screen. But that refers to the happenings in your next fic and it never happens in your 'verse since Merlin takes the kid to Arthur instead...

I really liked this. I just wish it could have kept going showing adventures with Merlin and Arthur including the newfound magic. I tend to dislike stories where Arthur completely hates Merlin after learning about magic so I'm glad Arthur's dislike only stayed during the shock and faded when he really thought about it.

I love when destiny is changed. Alf the time, plots from movies, series, books and others, are good to read but leave this hole of regret about some things.

Regrets, fear, dislike, and want for better ending.

Your story as filled a part of that hole. It changed my view about Arthur a great deal.

And I so love when there is this touch of 'magic' that light my day when I read a good fanfiction. Well, here there really was magic at play lol.

OMG, OMG, Merlin/Arthur fan-fiction! I found this by reading your Dragon Age fic, and am so happy that someone else see's the chemistry between A/M as I do (BBC Merlin I mean).
