Thank you so much for this! This seems to be the only ponyo fanfic I can find that isn't about Ponyo and Sosuke being in love (I see them as brother and sister), and it was a much better read than I would have imagined 33 I adored this, truly. Thank you for writing it!

Beautiful. I especially enjoyed how you used the mother as a way to make the ocean a dangerous attraction to young Fujimoto. I mean, you always want what's forbidden... that was very well done. And the transformation from human to sea spirit was quite original. Kudos to you for this lovely story! :)

I honestly cannot remember the last time I read a truly GOOD fanfic. This is wonderful. You've got everything about the chracters downpat, their personalities, their mannerisms, everything. I applaud you, this is definitely a quality piece of literature.

Oh my, what to say...that was FANTASTIC. And I learned something new today (dried plankton tastes like Corn Chex!) Excellent, excellent, and not to mention plausible story from beginning to end. Great use of authentic little details and things that really feel "right" (i.e, description of his boat, and his childhood/youth.) Boy, can I relate to that part, actually. ; *is a crazy redhead lonerish weirdo who could stare at aquariums all the live-long day* xD

Yeeah, he's my kinda underwater rock star...and that was a brilliant fic all around. Long live Fuji & GM (& Fuji's outfit!) ;3 Also love his theme song. Before I heard it I read that it was a tango, actually, and danged if it ain't. Which makes it even more awesome, of course. D

Wow this story is amazing! I'm so glad I found this one. I love the Japanese folklore and all the reasons behind Fujimoto's character in the future(Ponyo's time). All in all a job well done :)
