Nice and sad, but I am so glad that you didn't have Hinata get married it drives it home and makes the ending sad, but has that tiny bit of sweetness only true love brings.

This story man, is simply put mind blowing fantastic. The times of war, and the recruits deciding to spend their last time laughing forgetting about war. You sure know how to write realistic scence. Since it was in times of WWII, i expected such endings but after reading it, i found it exactly happening yet differently at the same time. I read it again and again and the more i read it, i can imagine and see mental images doing those acts. This fic is more 'live'. It really is a piece of art. More importantly its based on real incident and that makes thing a lot more emotional. Thanks for sharing it man! See ya!
