I really liked this.

You're right about Molly being under developed in the series-and we probably weren't given the best introduction to her character there. You make her very likeable here though.

It was really lovely to have a fanfic about Molly and it was a great read.

Lovely fic, I can honestly say I'm not a big fan of Molly, but this fic was really nice to read, so thanks for that ]
Small Hobbit chapter 1 . 8/30/2009
An original idea and worth exploring. I particularly liked the beginning where you show how nervous Molly is and how slowly the time passes as she worries about how she will cope with the differences between 2008 and 1982.

Micromys minutus chapter 1 . 8/25/2009
I like the Gene/Alex/Molly family - I've always felt bad about wanting Alex to stay with Gene and leaving Molly, although I've never really liked Molly so much, so I like this where they're all together 0) This makes me remember my first day at secondary school and how I felt!
theHuntgoeson chapter 1 . 8/23/2009
Your Alex, Gene and Molly are so sweet, a close-knit, affectionate family. You write Molly's understanding and acceptance of the differences between the 80s and the 00s (the Walkman, the music) very well, and also her nervousness of a new school and a whole new world. How heartwarming to find that it's just like school in any other time, and she makes a new friend so quickly. Lovely. I adore the description of the sleeping Gene - "so sweet, almost angelic". And do I presume that Alex's stomach upset is her pregnancy?
