I cried through this whole thing. Just bawled. Still bawling actually. It was so beautiful. God. Everything was so poignant, especially the ending. The differences between sex and making love. The hatred of her scarless body.

I started breaking down right after the leave the bar together. It was so beautiful when they were twirling together and talking about Italy.

I think you portrayed Gin perfectly. I loved Rangiku in here. So heartfelt, so broken, so real. The part where she returns to Sereitei instead of staying away with Gin is so in character for her. I'm guessing Ichigo died?

It was so deep yet... not exactly heartbreaking... but... ah, I can't even describe what I'm feeling. :(
But really, this was such a great story. The characters were so... emotional. You cut right into their problems, and dragged out their soul. Like feelings and all that whatnot. Seriously, though this wasn't one of those 'so-deep-that-I'll-never-forget' melodramas, this was almost there. In a good way. But this did mark me, and I think I will favourite this. Gosh, this was good.

Oh, wow. I think that Rangiku is one of the most difficult Bleach characters to write and you do it masterfully. Her relationship with shinigamiGin is both complex and heartbreaking and you manage to bring her closure and calm, i think, through Gin the human.

The whole piece read like a poem, beautiful and bittersweet.

It's a fic appropriate for these two, especially. I thought the characters were pretty in character as well, with your Gin-that-ain't-such-a-bastard being realistic and your Rangiku-that-just-got-out-of-a-war acting more or less as she should. Overall: niiice. :D

such a sweet sweet story. it's so beautiful, it's like the happy ending that'll never happen to ran and gin. and i love how it doesnt change anything in the actaul plot, but still have such a sweet ending. it's great. XD
