Man..this story is out of my league actually, but somehow I cant stop reading it after a few chapters...gotta read some fluff fanfic of them the heal my mind and heart about them...but seriously I didnt suspect the ending..and this is a great story...

This is a pretty good fanfiction story, but you probably know that theres no such thing as good vs evil wars. Once we get over this silly view of history we can actually understand history clearer.

The cold war was a geopolitical struggle. Nothing more. Both were in it to maximise and maintain their power. Did the United States fight for freedom? Not if you were african, Cuban, latin american or Vietnamese. The US supported some of the most brutal fascist regimes and dictators of the 20th century and dropped fire bombs on civilians and even aupported a genocidal regime in Indonesia. The Soviet Union also fought for there self interest over Americas and also inflicted cruelty on others. This is how the world works not this black and white view that this story keeps pushing. That being said, this story was pretty entertaining, though it would have been better eithout its childlish good vs evil plot.

I love this story so much. The ending was all worth it!

I remember reading this a long time ago back when I didn’t have an account on here.
I remember how graphic and intense this fanfic was. barely remember anything from it, some tidbits here and there, all in all I think this chapters gonna bring the memories back in!

God, this was twisted and beautiful. I love This pair so much, and there’s always a quiet piece of me that loves to see Ivan portrayed in a darker light. But this...this has broken me. I honestly wasn’t expecting such an ending. Perhaps I was hoping for a turn around? I mean I got one, yeah, but not with them dying! *sobs*
I read this in a few days, thankfully after finals because I was not able to put it down.
This was just...it was simply amazing.

ohhhhhhhh i extremely love this story. I cannot stop reading it and in fact yesterday I read it until midnight! Excellent storyline and incredible imagination! love the sadistic Ivan and a little masochistic Alfred. When thing comes to capture and recapture America, the story is really exciting!
BTY, can I translate this excellent work into Chinese and share with more friends? Many of my friends ship RussiaAmerica but they have difficulties reading in English. Pleaseeeee!
