I loved Max and Kenny! I wanted to cry along with them! I think Max would have smacked Kenny for walking out on her though.
Aphreal chapter 1 . 1/5/2002
Unfortunately I don't know Picket Fences very well (though I loved what I saw of it), I've only got blury memories of the few eps I managed to see when it was on (the time slot was like 10:30 - 11:30 here and at that stage I was still getting some sleep occassionally ;o)) but this was still a great fic to read, very compelling. I loved Zack getting a girlfrind, he's probably the character I remember best :o) Jimmy and Jill after him, and they were great as the concerned friends :o) And it's always good to see them both in action in their jobs :o) Kenny I *think* I remember but you wrote his and Max's story so well that I would have been moved by it even if I'd never seen him. Wonderful emotional drama :o) Very sad at times but wonderfully happy at others and with a lovely scattering of amusing moments. I admire the way you maintained the suspence throught the story :o) After reading your Players fanfic it's good to see the Picket Fences characters don't get off easily ;o) LOL
