This story was hilarious, I loved the back and forth between the two as well though a one-sided love hurt Mei at first her openness to the men at IRIS is funny.

Ah, I love wrathfulenglish's stories! They should get far more reviews. I love anything with Mei in, but this is just marvellous! It flows so well, the dialogue between characters feels so natural it's like I remember seeing it in the game.

I'm delighted that Mei cheers up in the end, and Nino playing therapist for her. Also... I love the super director's cut. Definitely too cheesy to include in the actual story, but I'm glad it's in there all the same. Excellent! I hope there's still more to come.

"So Mei fancied you? Jade asked curiously, one eyebrow raised.

Hub blushed fiercely. "Actually...it was the other way round. Mei's into girls. Anyway, it's history."

"Heh, it's good to see the other possibility though." Jade chuckled "C'mon, let's review."

Really cool! I liked when they were describing the huge leap (my favorite part in the game so far). I wish there were more BG&E fanfics. :)

Haha, Hub surviving a mine. Why can I picture that? XD I love how you characterized him- seemed very true. And the part where he and Jade descibe their death-defying leap flowed very nicely. They complimented each other throughout this, and I enjoyed the way you painted their relationship.

Her one-sided relationship seems very believable. Seems to be a popular theory in our tiny fandom. Nino was quite the shoulder, and I like that he tried to talk her up. In her mind it was either her or Jade; poor Hub, he has no choice in his love life. XD I like how she one-eighties, too, and goes from "Emo! I loves Hub!" to "Oh, I'll let him go!".

But then you tie it together, with the 'when Hub's happy, you can't be unhappy' and it made it all mesh very nicely. Enjoyable, interesting read.

More BG&E pieces make meh happah. :D
