Haha! And yes, Vegeta, we Earthlings are not Saiyan... though we sometimes may act like one, not giving up easily and all; like Bulma! Now we see that quality that both you and Goku have, as well.

Every word here, every thought, every point and every feeling and emotion... it's all Vegeta. And I agree, absolutely agree. This is why, in my eyes, no matter what they say, Vegeta is most certainly better than Goku. As a character, and definitely as a father and husband. His past is past, that's it. But Goku, though stronger when it comes to his Saiyan powers, does not possess the same strength in the heart that Vegeta does. His pure of heart and that is a strength, true. But just tell me why he left like that? Just like that? ...Yeah, I thought so. Even Vegeta said in the anime that Goku is better than him, and here, he says that he is better than his father! ... but well, this piece can be enlightening to some of us. And this wonderfully introspective piece also pours out Vegeta's soul full-on! I love that! Everything here, tale after tale, moment after moment, quote after quote, it is all to, too true. The truth of all that makes this guy and his thoughts on Goku. But him? Love, actually "love" Goku? Hahaha! Now, never heard that one; that'c certainly a thought! Can't believe that he somewhat does, now!

Deep, real, straight-on beautiful, I love this chapter! Filled with mind, heart, soul... awesome job! Sorry I haven't reviewed the Bulma chapter yet; I shall get to that soon.

Great Job so far. Characterization was good, maybe she was a little more likeable than I remember, but that's the way to go for something like this.

My only suggestion is that you have a little bit more at the end. It stopped so abruptly for Bulma. I mean, she starts talking faster and faster if she's thrilled. And what could be more thrilling than Vegeta actually admitting his love? :)

I really did appreciate the bit about Goku's forgiveness rubbing off on her. Artfully written.

I love how you portrayed Vejiita! It was absolutely perfect. I've always wondered, how can everyone love Gokuu when he leaves his family to fend for themselves at every turn? And this completely resounded with every one of my thoughts on that idea. I'm really looking forward to future chapters. Could we see one from Mirai Trunks, if it could be done? xD

Finally. To me this was the answer I needed. Since Vegeta never spoke about it, I always wondered why he was ok with finally allowing Goku to be better. I don't think that his monologue at the end of the Kid Buu saga did anything justice. This is how I believe the story had gone, and now it can be put to rest (for me) why Vegeta became entirely good.

Hmm. Yup, thats about right. Vegeta seemed fairly in character to me and thats Vegeta, cunning and actually wise enough to know when to cut his losses and count his victories.

Vegeta deserved to be the hero atleast once in this fans opinions, but I have made peace with the way the series ended (still hoping for a Toriyama sequel someday) and I loved this story. Because in the end, Kakarott missed the point. He really did. Vegeta got what he deserved, a family and a life of contentment.

Awe...That was cute.

Anyway, this is a really good idea and this chapter from Bulma's POV was adorable and a good reflection on Bulma's friendship with Goku. I'm really looking foward to reading the rest!

This is the kind of fic you never see anymore-descriptive, high quality, and canon. I absolutely love this. Buruma's description of life with Gokuu is utterly believable. I look forward to future chapters. :)
