So I know you wrote this about three years ago, but I'm new to watching Merlin so I started reading fics from the last pages and moving forward so as to avoid spoilers, especially now that the series has ended. Anyway, I was determined not to be that weird guest that randomly reviews a fic that was published so long ago that the author probably forgot about it, but this was too amazing and I had to let you know. Your writing style is so superb that it makes me want to cry, but in a good way. As a wanna-be author, I hope that one day I can write something half as well as this fic.

I have butterflies in my stomach that make me want to giggle and scream and go hug fluffy kitties! That is an emotion I have had only twice in my life. (Once when I found out I got a leading part in the school play and the other when I heard that my English teacher was a super harsh grader. Everyone came back from their essay meetings with this weird ghostly look on their faces, but then I got my essay and I got a 98%. Huzzah!) Anyway, good plot, good characterization, and AMAZING writing. I can't believe how well your sentences are constructed to match the tone of Arthur's feelings. Whether that was intentional or not, you truly have a gift. I am terribly jealous of you. Congratulations. You are one hundred percent awesome!

My goodness! I have to admit, I've strayed away from Merthur fics for a while now, simply because many of them seem so OOC. But this... this was just amazing! You managed to make everything completely adorable, yet making it seem realistic all the while. Adorable fic. :)

Your characterisation of Arthur was amazing! And you did my favourite Merthur thing of having a perfect!replacementservant, but I liked that you made Bregan dislike Arthur as well :) And Merlin being so bold at the end! A really well done fic.
