Nobody to my knowledge has written anything along the lines of this subject, either, and let me say that this was simply wonderful. Both beautiful and sad...

*sniffles* why can't frodo just come back? that would make it easier for so many more people...or sam could go and get frodo and bring him back...ergh i never really understood the whole valinor/grey havens thing...like why it's such a big deal that frodo go there...but that's probably just me being slow.

Very interesting...my old poems are always 4-8 lines long and are in exact little couplets with perfectly rhyming words and no meaning whatsoever. Awesome stuff. -ORS
