I absolutely adore this alternate ending. It is perfect as it is, and yet at the same time I wish there was the whole rest of James and Elizabeth's story together.

I always thought that even Elizabeth would keep her word and this story shows her impetuousness as well as a developing maturity that I think the film forgot. Thank you very much for sharing!

What I hate most about the movies- is that Will Turner's character is written in such a way that I inherently dislike him- and consequently always had to think of Elizabeth as fool of the highest order for giving him the time of day. The ending of the Will/Elizabeth story line was such a let down- who wants to be saddled with a kid and married to a man they only get to see one day every ten years? Nobody, that's who. I always thought Norrington and Sparrow were better suited to her.

What I love most about this fic, is that you give us a realistic view of how this pairing could work. Even the adventure seeking Elizabeth could have made the sensible (and right) choice had she only thought things through a bit more. Nicely done.

Aww, that was great. Lovely descriptions and the ending was just perfect - aside from the no kissing, although having them not kiss was a suitable ending for this fic. LOVED IT!
