I love this one. I really do, it's the best Gellert/Albus I have seen. I just love their friendship because it's so surprising but not really. I mean it makes so much sense but would any of us have thought of it when we first heard Gellert's name in sorcerers stones?

Oh my ... why are these Albus-Gellert storys always so damned complicadet. At least the good ones are. And yours definatly were one of the good ones! It allowed us a deep look in psych of both of this incredible fascinating men. Loved it!

really good story- well written and excellent characterizations

I have been trying to review this story for days. FFDN goes down at the most inopportune times.

I LOVED THIS. It was beautiful. The whole idea of 'you broke my heart for what you think is right but it will leave you broken as well' and the sentiment of 'you know I know who you really are and it isn't who you want the world to think you are' is just all so perfect.

Knowing what we do about GG and AD after TDH there is so much naked truth in this story. I have never seen a better portrayal of the end of this relationship. There is so much humanity here and it brings the 'great defeat of Grindelwald' down to human terms. It wasn't an epic battle when it happened, it was the breaking of a bond between two kindred spirits because their ambitions were no longer compatible.

Your whole theme of black/white/gray to good/evil/but-for-what was brilliant and the way you included it added to the overall tone of the piece and brought home the question of just what led AD to decide that GG was worth sacrificing.

LOVED it! You are great. I would love to see more of these two coming from you. BRAVO!
