This was a rather good fanfiction I love the way that they all come together for Merlin. I have to say why didn't Merlin just conjure that Dragon the great out of his ass to stand on the battlements but you know that being said, it was great to see Arthur, finally grow some balls… :-) Thank you!

Anyway I guess the storyline wouldn't work if you didn't have Merlin so close to killed, but really it WAS unrealistic for everyone to just let him be executed. Without even an escape attempt.

this... is kind of ridiculous. You know how many times Merlin has escaped from those dungeons? How many times he helped others escape? Arthur and Morgana even helped when they all got Mordred out. And even if they hadn't there is no way Arthur would let Merlin turn himself in, there is a MILLON other things they could have done.
