I'm glad you're starting another fic! Bella's grief in the last chapter was almost palpable. It was clear just how much she relied on Alice and Rose to get through the service. You made it very real, and I have to admit, reading it brought my mood down a bit.

I love Alice's obsession with Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Her comment about Rose being loose, and Rose's response made me laugh out loud (which made my father look at me strangely). The final bantering between the three was hysterical!

Looking forward to seeing where you take the story. Especially what the names on the doors meant...

Despite the gloomy beginning, (I've never been much of a Renee's fan, but death is always sad) I'm really looking forward for more. You have me intrigued and can't wait for Edward making an appearance... I wonder what's his deal.

About the sticky notes... I'm plunging myself into the realm of the supernatural .. and my guessis those are the names of the ghosts that inhabit that room in particular.. don't know...

i know i'm not supposed to smile because of the funeral. but i think leaving a house (as compared to many) is rather entertaining.

you know, i think i've read every one of your stories and loved them all (especially the two 'secret life' stories - those are really wonderful). oh, and 'christmas wine' - i really liked that one, too. anyway, i'm sure that i'll love this one just as much. i love the end of the second chapter:

“Do you guys feel a draft?” Rose asked from Alice’s other side.

“It’s because you’re wearing a thong.” She replied.

Rose tugged at the blanket in a huff. “Yeah well, at least I’m waxed.”

I rolled away from them with a quiet “oh Jesus.”

Alice mumbled next a few minutes later, half her face pressed into the blanket. “Does anyone else smell cake?”

“It’s the candles,” Rose replied, half asleep already.

“Are you sure?”

Rose answered with an equal mixture of tiredness and sarcasm. “No, I’m baking and just didn’t tell you. Go check the kitchen.”

it's one of those silly conversations that my friends and i have when we're dead tired and getting seriously punchy. i can't wait to read more.
