Wow, Cuddy managed to turn the kid around on House and not own up to any of her mistakes. I'm disgusted that she didn't tell her precious daughter how she blamed House for the kid leaving and how that had to have made him feel. No, she compared him leaving them to an unjustified temper tantrum and let her kid turn all her anger on him. Great parenting.

And frankly? She should be down on her knees thanking fate or luck or whatever that her daughter had some money. Why? Because that kid was heading for New York one way or another... and without money who knows where she'd have stowed away or what she'd have eaten.

I love how it's House's fault that Cuddy's negligence with her information got exposed... instead of Cuddy going 'shit, I screwed up' because she did, it's her own damn fault. I'm actually surprised the inept case worker didn't find anything about Bella's past herself.

I laughed until I cried on the Bella exchange with Greg about changing the patient's TV channels. She is a hoot, asking whether he might have a heart attack! This story gets better and better as I go along. Love it!

This story is so fantastic! I am having a blast; the dialogue is so good, it's like I'm watching the TV show! Thanks again for wonderful entertainment and fir sharing your creativity with other House fans.

Your writing is really good, love the exchanges between House and Cuddy and the dialogue. However, the gorilla reference sucked IMHO.

I just spent the weekend reviewing this and gaaaaaah, I still love it! House and Cuddy and Bella are the perfect little family and it almost feels canonical with the show because it's lovely and it makes me happy and makes me say yay and yes that's it.

My favorite chapter. You absolutely got the characters right, lol - House is so funny. I want this family to happen, such a beautiful story.

Great story

I know this was a long time ago you posted this. But I just need to tell you this is the most amazing story I've read. I have lost both my parents and my twin sister. You maybe have seen me on Ellen? If you even watch that show haha. Anyways, and I just can relate to so much of what you've written. It's incredible. Hope you'll post something new. I'll be interesting in reading it then. At the beggining I liked this story but in the chapters where cuddy became a bitch and stupid mother and too over controlling I hated it and couldn't read the sequel.

This story was really good. I really connected with all of the characters and felt bad for Bella during some parts. I'm glad everything turned out ok. Very captivating drama!
