Dang Marty’s life sucked. No wonder she was the slutty party girl. She didn't really have a chance. With her being raped and abused so much in her life, it makes sense that she would marry one of her rapists despite the many times he physically abused her son. Being with Patrick was a fluke.

I had such a dumb, dopey smile on my face through the whole chapter, right until Marty got her flashback. Sigh, but I'm glad she was honest with him. I love all the little details, especially the note with the dress. It's very Todd, and it's delicious that he would gas up his jest even for a jaunt to NYC. Just a treat from beginning to end.

So much to love...I can absolutely picture and hear Marty at the AA meeting, and Todd being frank with her that he loathes therapy but will go for her and their sake. Thank you again so much for this tale.

I abolutely loved how Marty ripped into John. I hope she reams Cole out as well. He had no right to go behin Marty's back like that. I also liked how Todd reacted when Marty asked him to leave. He was ready to stay and help her with John if need be, but he also recognized that she could take care of herself, something John has obviously yet to learn. Anyways, Please update soon!

Sorry for the delay in reviewing your tale. It's a real treat for me to read and I gasped in delight when I logged on and found Chapter 7 just now.

IMHO it's spot-on that Marty would be cagey about being hypnotized, but having to acnowledge ot herself that it could be useful. I adore Todd yelling at the shrink to wake Marty up, and I like that Dr. Levin gave it right back and told him to zip it.

I am very very intriged as to why Marty doesn't want to go home and who's waiting for her there. Thanks for updating, and please do post more soon...
