im really enjoying to see how nina's character continues to evolve and where she takes ryu, the snow angel scene with child ryu was very touching i could feel depth bubbling over from nina within the atmosphere your words created, you've really become quite prolific and created a wonderful world here over the past decade since i've seen you irl, it's really quite amazing to read all you've accomplished. hope your doing well. quarantine lyfe isn't quite so bad now P

I kid you not there were multiple times while I was reading it when I had to pause out of fear for what could happen next to the characters.
Thankfully things didn't get that dark in the end. HELL! If anything they actually seem to be looking up, what with all parallels to the battle with elder Jono and the prophecy about Ryu given by Ladon(got some serious flashbacks to him while I was reading that part).
Does that means that Ryu has finally gained complete control over his power, including the Kaiser? Because if that is indeed the case then I can't wait to see the showdown between a fully powered Ryu and Nina vs Tyr/Myria.
That and to see Nina and Ryu married because Ladon do they deserve some happiness(and a untainted little hybrid would certainly bring them a lot of it).

I can’t believe what I’m seeing are you seriously back for good! My god I hope so you cannot go on another hiatus that long my friend! Last update was like 2 years ago and I enjoyed the fact that I was kinda the same age as ryu and you know... liked to pretend I was nina... yep. But now 2 years down the line I’m almost 30 and I just feel like a weird old lady ughhhh!

The chapter was one of my favourites yet! I’m super devastated that we’ve finally lost Ethan and chasta, I’m scared that the ending to the story is nearing and I don’t want it to happen! I can’t wait to see how nina is going to react in the next chapter you left it on such a cliff hanger AGAIN! Don’t leave me waiting I hope you laugh at my weird comments and somehow they give you the motivation to put pen to paper and beast out another one of those epic long chapter!

It’s good to see you back. I really enjoy this chapter. Trubo was such a great character even for such a short time. I’m also sad to see Ethan and chasta finally meet their end but I know that it was a brilliant set up for the next chapter. Ryu is going to struggle to hold on to nina after this. Damn. I always thought that when the time came for Ethan and chasta to meet their demise it would be at the hands of either nina or ryu because they couldn’t convince them to change their ways. But oh man I was not expecting Ethan to slay chasta and then for Ethan to be swallowed alive by the armour. I fear for ninas sanity I really do.

Where do I even begin, let’s start with welcome back AngelKitty! You have been well missed! I still check for updates on benevolent monsters almost every day because I knew you’d be back sooner or later. What an absolutely amazing Christmas gift to your readers I couldn’t have asked for a better present today. What a tough couple months I’ve had, it just didn’t feel like Christmas today, but then by chance I did my normal quick check to see if you’d updated and my heart literally jumped when I say this story at the top of BOF page! I must say what an incredibly well written chapter this was, I can tell you have trouble coming up for Ryu and nina in the next chapter. Her connection to Ethan and chasta has probably been one of the last remaining things keeping her from losing her mind apart from ryu of course, but watching them die like that in front of her eyes is going to put her mind in such a vulnerable state to where I think her ancestor will be able to easily take over and control now. I loved the highlanders in this chapter and I’m really sad they’ve been wiped out already haha I still can’t believe how far ryu and nina have come, I’m really hoping for a happy ending despite the tough battle heading towards them. Please give us a little update on your profile of how your are, updated on the next chapter.. maybe another surprise on New Year’s Eve/day haha! ... I have no idea how to express the happiness and giddiness I have felt this morning when I realized you updated this story.
I've been waiting for a update for so long it felt unreal. Definetly the best Christmas present I could get this year.
I'll be honest, the fight scene was kinda anticlimactic but I gues that is my fault since I'm more or a action guy than most people(every single one of my stories are filled with action) and I really wanted to see a rematch between Ryu and Ethan and see how Nina mops the floor with Chasta as payback for all the crap she has done.
I have to admit however that seeing them die as the piles of excrement they were was very satisfying. Especially Ethan, seeing him beg for mercy and turn into a pile of mangled flesh after that high and mighty attitude he had was simply perfect.
And how could I forget Ryu? His jealousy was endearing.
One of my favorite monents in this chapter however must have been Arson's reaction when Ryu mentioned the possibility of setting the forest on fire. Shit was hilarious. XD
