you know how sometimes you love and have re-read a story so many times, you KNOW for certain you had to have written a review for it...?

this is one of those stories...BUT IT TURNS OUT ID DIDN'T REVIEW IT.

i know you're content with alerts and faves, but as a fan, i feel you deserve a review, especially for a story like this, BECAUSE IT'S COMPLETELY AWESOME (not that your other stories aren't; this one just happens to be a particular fave - actually, i think this is the first story i ever read that was written by you. 2nd was Love, Duty, and Other Difficult Things. 3rd was They Also Serve, which I am now going to have to check if i left a review for, too, because that's also another one of my favorites...anyway, you're AMAZING!).

back to this particular story: i really, really loved the characterization, and how you showed us hibari's thought process and how i even found myself nodding along and thinking him perfectly rational and logical - except he isn't he really isn't. but he gets his thought process, and you can totally tell he thinks everyone else should get it too. which is just SO him.

and chrome! chrome is herself, too, but better! i always loved chrome as a character, and i really thought amano-sensei should have given her more cool scenes and lines, becuase she has SUCH potential. such potential. i mean, come on, she remains mostly sane even though a madman resides in her head! but yeah, i really enjoyed the dynamics between her and hibari, and how she does it for him personally, not because mukuro wants her to. it's a choice she makes to make life easier on hibari, and by extension, everyone else. i'm also a huge fan of 1896, so even though this fic is obviously NOT a romantic one, i still adore this moment between them, especially because i can TOTALLY see it happening. thank you so much for this fic, and for your other stories too. you're an amazing writer, and once i find time (probably when i'm old and 80 XD) i'm gonna review and repeat that statement about a million times. :)
