Sanitel chapter 16 . 6/11/2019 I really like the story. A shame it seems to be abandoned. Even though Dumbledore stated in the books that Tom had never been capable of love, I think the definition of love is debatable and the way you portray it bordering on a selfish obsession definitely doesn’t contradict the statement. And making an Unbreakable Vow borders on that. On another note there is a small continuity error. Levicorpus is a spell invented by Severus Snape as well as Sectumsempra. Minerva couldn’t have used it in the ‘40s. But it’s a minor thing. |
Guest chapter 36 . 6/6/2019 Update soon please! |

Wolfoenix chapter 36 . 3/3/2019 Excellent fic. I do not normally leave a reviews for even the best of fics I read, but this masterpiece convinced me to do it. I hope that you have not abandoned it. |
Justalady chapter 36 . 5/21/2018 Heyyy! I’ve loved your story since the moment I read it and I wanted to thank you so much! I love the way you’ve written McGonagall- I don’t usually like fics about her because I hate how people write her but this... this was really something else. So beautiful and so realistic- I love it and I love you. Xx |
Lols chapter 12 . 2/27/2018 Now Riddle reminds me of a cat. Very much. :) |
TheAdventure10 chapter 36 . 11/10/2017 Your story is a mixture of of the harsh reality and the blindness of love all kneaded together to call what we readers call 'perfection'. It's such a gorgeous read, perfect even for people like me who do not usually read stories in this genre. You are such a vivid author and I feel so close to you and your story- I didn't even think that was possible to be honest. Thank you so much for giving me an amazing hour that consisted of me binge reading every chapter in one go! :) |
Guest chapter 36 . 9/4/2017 Good story |
Josephine chapter 36 . 5/24/2017 Amazing, amazing story. I read it all in one go and dear me, it is absolutely fascinating. You are very talented, and it does not look like English is your second language. You have a way of writing that gives life to characters and incidents and that is a rare thing indeed. Thank you for sharing this story. May your muse continue to inspire you. |
Caroline chapter 35 . 4/3/2017 Brilliant story! I just love it. I really like the way you portray Tom and Minerva and that they are still in character. I also love the way you incorporate history and make everything so realistic. |
19Delfin chapter 32 . 3/31/2017 War truly is terrible and you really managed to capture the helplessness Minerva was feeling at that moment. Also, Tom is back! I'm happy and terrified at the same time. Is he gonna find out about Dumbledore's mission and James? I don't think he's gonna be too keen of Minerva looking into the unbreakable vow - there's something fishy going on and I can't wait to find out how he managed to navigate around the magic supposedly preventing him from harming innocents. |
Guest chapter 36 . 3/29/2017 .brilliant. All of it. When I first saw the pairing I was a bit skeptical. I mean Professor McGonagall and Voldemort? But as I’m quite fond of strange ships I gave it a try. I’m not going to lie, I binge-read all of your TR/MM one-shots and I had to forcibly keep myself from leaving a review along the lines of “you’re awesome” on each and every one of them, because that would’ve been kinda creepy stalker-ish, so I decided to wait until after I had finished with Hypocrisy. And I have and I was just blown away. By everything. Your writing style is beautiful, and the metaphors… Pure art, I tell you. What gripped me most were the characters though. Somehow you managed to make Tom swoon-worthy and sweet without making him OOC, and made the romance believable (and incredibly enjoyable) without giving Minerva a serious case of Stockholm-syndrome. And that itself is quite an achievement. I could go on and on about how much I loved every line, and how all the foreshadowing killed me (they were well done, and painful I might add) but for the sake of all parties involved I won’t. One of the best things for me is that by now I stopped thinking about them as the Dark Lord and the Transfiguration Professor. They’re Tom and Minerva. And I totally adore them. And wait for their inevitable break-up with dread. I hope you keep on writing and update soon! |
19Delfin chapter 27 . 3/15/2017 It's the end of an era and their carefree youth and Hogwarts days are over. This chapter was beautiful and really hit me - it was so nostalgic. Now that Tom is out of school his plans are gonna be put into motion and Minerva's gonna have to open her eyes and realize what Tom has done and is going to do. |
19Delfin chapter 17 . 3/14/2017 This story is so beautifully bittersweet! It's just heartbreaking to realize what Tom could have been with a different upbringing. I can't help but hope for Minerva to redeem him somehow... |
