It took me some time to read, but I enjoyed every bit of it. It started just a little bit slow, but I’m glad that I continued reading everything. I laughed along the story and even felt like crying and the writing in itself was beautiful. I think that as the story progressed you captured the character’s personality better and better. Thank you very much for the read!

I really have enjoyed every chapter of this story. Though I'm worried you'll never compete it considering the last time this was updated was two years ago. I'd love to read the conclusion to this story. If I may make a suggestion I really hope that you are considering maturing the story for the conclusion. The various kissing/make-out scenes are already steamy and heart-pumping and so I hope that Phoenix and Miles reach a detailed climax (pun intended) near the end of this story. Not to say that it should be crudely explicit, but rather descriptively raw and emotional. I love the relationship that you've cultivated in these 20 chapters and I wish that Capcom would take notes considering the heavy undertones and sexual tension that is present between the characters in the games. Well done and I hope to read more soon.

Adorable! i love this fic so much, it was (and still is, of course!) honestly one of my first and favourite fics in this entire fandom. ive been away from for such a long time,, i remember when i lived for every update of this fic and im SO glad i found time to come back to it and re-read it all bc yeah i still do this is amazing!

i didnt find this chapter boring in the slightest, the whole chapter was so warm and wonderful and honestly wow. you take so many emotions n flow between them perfectly in this story...that chapter where it seems that phoenix is dead actually broke my heart the first time around, and even if i Knew while re-reading this time it stil made me so sad...and then you have the awkward, heartwarming chapters, and then theres the beautiful cute stuff now and wow i love it all. the way you write their dynamic is excellent!

EVEN IF THE LAST CHAPTER GETS TO BE THE LENGTH OF A FOOTBALL FIELD, I'LL READ EVERY SINGLE WORD. It provides more space for WRIGHTWORTH moments. By the way, yes I do cry at my kiss scene efforts. Every time I try to write one, I actually feel light headed and I sweat waterfalls because it too much for me to handle sometimes. I have a habit of squeaking randomly when I'm happy and that was all my family heard from me when I was reading this.
"You're the only one I want doing that kind of thing to me."
Also, THIS LINE sent shivers up my spin.

Oh, you had me in stitches! How can Phoenix be so lovable and so annoying at the same time? I loved the scene in the suit shop... and Miles getting a jealous bone. And I found myself gasping at the revelation of the belated birthday gift and the uber-personal way it was done. Very nice work! I love long chapters! (And, for what it's worth, I just wrote only my second ever kissing scene in a fanfic and I so feel your awkwardness!). Looking forward to the next five chapters!

Today happens to be a day off for me, so long chapter fits right in with my schedule. I did not expect an upload so soon! I am pleasantly surprised. Also, thanks for taking my request for drunk Miles and Phoenix at home. I was so shocked seeing my name in there... I'm kind of flattered. I enjoyed every last word of it!

I think 25 chapters is a nice length to end with. Your chapters get longer and longer each time. I wonder how long the last chapter will be, LOL. Keep it up!

Oh geez! Caught red-handed...and red-faced! Phoenix stress-eating chocolate made me giggle... because if you're going to stress eat then chocolate is the best! I love everything about this chapter, especially knowing that "everyone knows." You did a great job of raising and airing those ethical considerations, and as others have mentioned capturing that back-and-forth emotional tryst between humor and angst and romance. And I love, love, love the bar scene at the end of the chapter! I am still learning about this fandom but I really love these characters as you wrote them and can't wait to read more!
