The first line. Hook, line and sinker. It's been awhile since I have read a good hook sentence in a fan fiction. I tend to cringe at AU high school fictions, but this one makes me rethink that they can sometimes be quite amazing. And putting them in high school was suiting in this sense. Their hormone raging curiosity, slipping out of class for a moment's release. This is so believable, I can't believe it's not part of the actual story plot. That was quite a story you sketched out. Bravo
