This amazingly well done! For you to pull canon and all that despite the difference is amazing! Though I feel they're not fair for Sirius... after all they make it Sirius and Lily love is never happened... that more sad than one side love in my opinion..

Just wow, I finished it in less than two days, i have to say im not really a Sirius/Lily shipper but once I started reading it I really couldn't stop, your writing style is incredible and very captivating. Also, I'm very impressed by how you twisted it to fit the real story, i kept thinking about that the whole time I was reading, All in all, you're an extremly talented writer.

You know, that was my first Sirius/Lily fic ever... And I'm really glad it was my first.

I didn't think I'd be able to read it, after all... Lily and James, you know? BUT you made it believable. It made sense. And the way you were able to fit it into cannon was just... Wow!

All in all, read it all in a couple of days and still wanted more.

I am a hardcore Jily shipper. I clicked your story out of curiosity and I must say I am actually greatly enjoying it. I still am a hardcore Jily shipper, but this is a great story nonetheless.

Merlin's beard, I can't believe it's over. I've been reading this fanfic since the beginning. Well done for sticking with it - most people would have given up after so much time. It was a wonderful story, heartbreaking and exciting all at once.

Love the ending

I've read many fanfics on this site, almost all of the Marauder-era ones worth reading. But I've just realised that I have never ever read the infamous scene where Sirius goes after Peter and the street is blown up. It was everything I'd expected and so much more. This chapter, sad as it was, is by far the best chapter of this story.

I haven't been following Better Man for long, but from the first few chapters to now, it's obvious that your writing skills have developed. I loved the way this chapter was written and cannot wait for the last update.
