Gundam Kaiser chapter 17 . 12/11/2016 ...Mana just couldn't resist blowing her boy a kiss, could she? |
Zoro50 chapter 17 . 12/8/2016 Glad you are back in the saddle with this fic. Sorry for the late review. I havn't been on the Eva side of for a while. So without further ado! The Bad: Well nothing really except that perhaps Steels hammer was a bit to powerful? Meh, I kinda liked that too. :D The Good: The fight. Very well done here. It had excellent choreography, all the Eva pilots got involved and no one contribution significantly impacted the fight more than any other. The fight wasn't an easy win and it shouldn't have been. The feeling of satisfaction from seeing Asuka finish the job was great. Sure sign that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Steel's contribution was equally well measured. She only really had one shot, but she made it count. Well done with the balancing of the power of her hammer and the limited abilities of her suit. The Other: Will Gendo figure it out? This close to the end, my literary sense says yes, but we never know. Here's hoping the next chapter is SUPERGIRL! |
Dragonjek chapter 17 . 12/4/2016 Oh god, it's back! Superwomen of Eva 2 is alive! Well, obviously. Comic book characters never stay dead, after all, and so I suppose a fic about comic characters couldn't stay dead either. Not my favorite of your stories, but one I've still very much enjoyed. "Asuka commanded Unit Two to move, and the test type Evangelion narrowly managed to dodge the Angel's second attack" Minor point here-Unit 0ne was the test type. Unit 02's a production model. |
Rassilon001 chapter 17 . 12/4/2016 So good to know you're still with us. SWOE-4-EVAH. |
Quathis chapter 17 . 12/4/2016 Fighting smarter would fight her style better than fighting harder. It will likely go badly for Shinji when they see that footage. Probably have something public and messy with him as bait for her. More a matter of time than anything, especially if they get a body double. Though Mana did well with him and the others on this battle. Until next time. |
Dragonjek chapter 16 . 5/7/2016 I don't think Mana should come out. Steel has nothing on Zeruel. Maybe he could absorb those eye blasts into her hammer and fire them back, but... other than blasting through the plate armor, the lasers were a relatively minor weapon against the Evangelions. He just tore them apart like the tissue paper everyone makes fun of his arms for being (have I mentioned that I love Rebuild, btw?). I'm worried about Asuka, now. I don't think she puts much credit into Shinji's words-she's just too calm for that-but if she does find the proof about NERV... she'd freak. And probably do something headstrong and stupid, exactly like Mana didn't want her to. With the interaction between Shinji and Mana so sporadic, and there thus being little opportunity for reconciliation and a lot of opportunity for thoughts to fester, improving their relationship after that would be hard, and take a lot of time. Still, I love this story. Yet again, I must ask-is this story just on the backburner, or have you taken it off the stove entirely? |
Dragonjek chapter 13 . 5/7/2016 "Motomu paused for a beat, clearly surprised by her obvious irritation. "Mr. Kagome is here. He is saying that he must speak to you immediately." Mana knew that Mr. Kagome was a member of Yamagishi Enterprise's board of directors and a frequent thorn in Mayumi's side." It's funny, and sometimes a little annoying, that we occasionally learn more about the superwomen from the stories the appear in as supporting characters than the one they star in. That omake kill switch would come in handy right now. |
Dragonjek chapter 11 . 5/7/2016 Dear Omake Mayumi: There are two lessons that everyone should know. Firstly, don't insult the person who makes your food, unless you enjoy indigestion. Secondly, do not electrify the person who makes your weapons, unless you enjoy the bajillion of ways your bajillion of gadgets could screw up. |
Dragonjek chapter 10 . 5/7/2016 Don't diss Squirrel Boy! Squirrel Girl was the most powerful character in all of the Marvel Universe! This may be DC, but I bet you Thanos would curb-stomp anything NERV put out easily enough. And Thanos was no match for Squirrel Girl. But I understand. This is about the Superwomen of Eva, and it wouldn't do for them to be outdone by a superdude. Especially one with a squirrel tail. |
Dragonjek chapter 3 . 5/6/2016 I like this depiction of Chiron. I think you make more compelling villains than orionpax does. I like his stories, but he doesn't seem to understand the difference between someone who is bad, someone who is criminal, someone who is genuinely villainous, and someone who eats puppy and baby steaks for dinner. Gendo, Chiron, and often Asuka are so completely lacking of sympathetic features that it gets a bit annoying to read sometimes. |
Dragonjek chapter 2 . 5/6/2016 ""What about an EVA?" Gendo pressed. "Yes, sir," Chiron said." ... Really? How? EVAs can DANCE, and has reaction time fast enough that Shinji managed to shoot the 5th Angel despite the very small gap of time available to fire. Her suit would have to make her movements more fluid than they naturally are in order for it to outperform an EVA. What clumsiness they do have is an unavoidable by-product of size. |
Guardian54 chapter 12 . 4/19/2015 I want to punch some sense into Mana so hard... to take out a hostage taker in a car when you can punch through the roof and escape it's ALWAYS best to fire a bolter through the back ofhis seat into his skull... moronic, naive imbeciles are unworthy of being heroes, because real heroes are glorified janitors... |
Guardian54 chapter 11 . 4/19/2015 I hope Section 2 enjoys being stepped on by Unit 4 in the not so distant future. Couldn't happen to nicer folk... |
Guardian54 chapter 6 . 4/19/2015 If you aren't willing to kill morons that get in your way... you're the moron. A real hero's job isn't glamorous, how could it be, when you're basically a janitor for the world? |
Rassilon001 chapter 16 . 11/19/2014 Poor Mana really just can't seem to catch a break, can't she? I think she and Chiyo are easily the least effective Superwomen of the Eva series. Still, gotta admire her pluck, she's clearly not going to quit anytime soon. Plus, it takes real courage to stand up to Batgirl of all people. Loved the battle in the mind sequence, Mana up against her real steel Angelic counterpart. Made for an excellent comparison to the Batgirl vs the Armor fight in the real world. Both were clearly out of their depth but did not give up. Here's hoping they, Supergirl, and the Eva's have a better chance when fighting the Angel of Might. Your stories continue to entertain, please continue. |
