THIS IS SO FREAKIN AWESOME.

It took me a long time to read this, since it was so long, but it was definitely worth it! It's totally awesome to get the story from the other perspective!

Also, I'm cosplaying Riku, so this was very helpful to get an insight into his character so I can stay in character better.

I think that the only reason this story could have so few reviews is that it is SO good... some people are simply struck speechless.

I certainly don't know what to say to such amazing writing.

It was Fantastic. The start, it was so cute, and I loved how I could feel Riku's confusion and his love. The end, painful and it was nice to know that Riku wanted to take responsibility like that.

I really liked this story and it was very well written with an actual point. But, I was kind of dissappointed in the ending, I really hoped it wouldn't tie into the Kingdom Hearts story, but it did. I was also sad because Riku did not get to be with Sora. But other than my own opinions, it was a very nice story. :)

That was so breathtakingly beautiful. :) Heart-wrenching, yes, but that is the main reason you need to love this. I can feel the raw emotion of Riku's love and the way you write is so wonderful and fantastic. :) If it weren't for my aunt beside me I would've bawled like a baby when I read the ending. The parentheses are to die for, dear. It was never confusing; hell, it even made this more beautiful and eloquent.

This was such a well-written story and very believable! I could believe that Riku was thinking these thoughts during the game! I haven't checked yet so maybe you've already done one, but if you haven't, you should definitely write another story referencing KH2! I wanna know how that one happens! I can't quite express what I'm feeling after reading all of that.

I can't say tragic since it's not really a tragedy.

However, I felt really sad and helpless when Riku felt left behind.

He loves Sora so much but like Riku said, it was no longer Riku-and-Sora.

It became Sora-and-Kairi.

When you wrote that I became so teary eyed. More so when you wrote Riku's sacrifice.

Is there any chance of writing a sequel?

This was, without a doubt, one of the best Kingdom Hearts fics I've ever read.

Bittersweet and a little sad, but there's that feeling that if one thing had been different, everything else would have changed.

Okay seriously, I have NO idea why you dont have more reviews for this fic it is absolutely amazing! You captured Riku's personality and feelings towards his friends perfectly everyone was in character throughout the entirety of you story. I can sort of relate to Riku when my best friend started liking this other person and talked about her all the time, and kept asking me "Should I tell her?" "Should I ask her out?" It really made me angry that he never really thought that I maybe didnt want to spend the little time we had together until he left for six months talking about some girl I couldn't give two shits about. And instead of telling him that I would much rather just spend time with him while I could and maybe we could talk about it over the phone when he left, I just took it and gave him advice and in the end we ended up fighting almost all the time before he left and I felt horrible when he did. But he phoned me about two days after he got there and we both apologized and he didnt talk about her after that. I was happy, and concerned at the same time that maybe I did more than I thought I did by saying that I didnt care about this girl, that I just wanted to spend time with him. We didnt fight much after that and when we did it was over stupid little things that we apologized for right afterwards and when he got back he would talk about her sometimes but not everyday and every minute of every hour like before. And now he's over her and never talks about her at all. I really felt bad that I couldnt be there for him when he had needed me...

Yeah sorry about the long winded mini story there, Riku is my favorite character not because he is an attractive character (because a lot of people only like him for that) but because I find that I can relate to that jealousy and anger that he had felt towards Kairi, whom I dont like very much btw, she is actually my least favorite character because even at the beginning of the first KH game I could tell that if she had never been there maybe Riku and Sora wouldn't have seperated in the way that they had, or at all for that matter. She was the great divider, and I really dont like her.

Anyway great story, its totally amazing and if you ever do decide to go through the other games too I will definitely read them!

My goodness. This was awesome. I've always liked angsty-Riku-thinks-he-loves-Sora-unrequitedly fics. Add that to great writing, and you get awesome. Awesome awesome-ness. I need to stop using the word awesome.
