Well I developed asthma at age 6. It was nasty, I remember the day like it was yesterday. I had gone into respiratory arrest that time, my mother says.

Like the end where Dean sobbing in his father's arms... (sigh. again). I needed that. Needed to read about John cared about Dean, and held him and soothed him. Always felt sorry for the guy for lack of it in fics.
