The story is beautiful i love it so much and i was sad seeing it end

Well this was fun. I wish Hermione had been married to Percy instead of Ron like in your other story. Only because I don't love seeing Harry or Ron roasted in fics. I was also surprised Hermione forgives Snape so quickly, but why drag it out I guess.
I thoroughly enjoyed the scene where Severus discovers Harry and Ginny named their son after him. I also chuckled when Harry and Severus got very drunk together. It was nice to see Harry go to bat for Severus.

Oof, someone rec'd this for fics where Snape is obsessed with Hermione. I understand you stretched a one shot into a whole story, so maybe that explains some of the issues already, but thia story just lacks some serious plot explanations. Like Snape falling in love with Hermione because her hair suddenly looks better? Eesh. And frankly, your author's note on Hermione being "too smart and talented" for sex work is pretty insulting and ignorant. I hope things have improved for you in the decade since you wrote this.

I'm not even sure how to express where you went wrong because its like you tried to take the sweet cliched route and the angsty route and ended up with something that would make for a very funny meta comedy but never delivered the punch line. It kinda feels like you took the most worn plot template from a penny dreadful and then made the characters named Severus and Hermione follow it like marionettes (which would be hilarious if they were self aware). It could have been saved at several points by making fun of the clicheness of it's own characters, or if you had put in a plot twist that I didn't see coming from the summary. I also never saw the famed intelligence (or biting wit) of either of the characters because neither of them had a logical progression of emotions. Hermione dumps a caricature of Ron then gets over him without any emotional damage. The apathy twards Ron would be understandable, but for someone who has had their trust so abused that it turns to apathy would not be emotionally available enough to rebound that quickly (TRUST ISSUES!) and would either not let such a spiteful Ron get away with taking anything even reputation from her or would cut most ties with her friends and family until she had people to build up her sense of self worth. There would be resentment, anger, underserved self blame, coping mechanisms, trust issues, anything, once the apathy wore off. And Severus who can read people well enough to play them doesn't see the impending emotional devastation of a failed marriage and take steps to make sure that Hermione is emotionally available before getting involved, or getting involved but always wondering when the other shoe was going to drop. You took an angsty plot line and then stripped it of all but a few stilted confrontations that felt more like the author driving the story than the characters. What ever did happen to the press? They are very concerned about it but nothing ever becomes of clearly ground-breaking news.
