Aw! This was a sweet story. Very touching and a little humorous at the same time. Keep up the good work!

It's rare to see a oneshot that attempts to pull off introspection, characterization and humor all at once. It's even rarer to see it succeed. You should feel proud of yourself. While Genma is a pretty bad father, that's because he's self-centered, impulsive, reckless and kind of bumbling, not because he doesn't care for his son. In their own weird way, Ranma and Genma do love each other, and he does try and show that in his own twisted fashion.

Nicely done. Nabiki will probably be in arms trying to figure out what Ranma is trying to get out of his Dad. After all it must be BIG if Ranma is trying to be respectful to Genma!

That's a very sweet chapter. It is hard to find stories like this these day, and it is very enjoyable and refreshing. This story certainly makes my day. Good work.

The only problem I have with the story is that wolves don't attack humans. Now if you had said bears attack them that would be both realistic and make Genma seem even more self-sacrificing for Ranma.

Good short story. To the point, and very touching.
