It was an amazing story with Debbigail in the mix! Very subtle Debbigail, too bad there wasn't a kiss like in the case of Louie. Aaaaw I liked it very much, even if Scrooge and Darkwing Duck didn't come back to life. I missed both characters, but it was perfectly justified. Except for Fenton, he just sort of disappeared in protective custody. We never knew anything new from Launchpad or Gyro. Those two marked absences sounded real, because that's what happens in life, people aren't eternal and they move on. Uhm, I was uncomfortable with Huey's lifestyle to tell you the truth, but what can I say? Some people dig that. As for Louie and Gosalyn, they remain as funny as ever. Well, each of the brothers continued with their lives and Dewey takes on the role his uncle Scrooge chose once. It's nice to see Donald was able to be back into their lives, though we didn't know the specifics on how his circumstances changed him? Hehe and he's going to have the time of his life explaining that to Daisy.
Again, thanks for posting such a great story! It's a gem. I hope you post more stories in the future.

At last! Donald's intervention was revealed. And again , Dewey was the last nephew to notice it. Also, I'm too shocked over Dewey. He was shot in the leg and his chest! Oh no! You're not making him end up with a limp and cane?
By the by, I'm content with the Debbigail. Louie already had his time with DW for us to see and Huey his group of Carioca fangirls. As for Dewey, he's committed to pay attention to Webby.
I hope Donald and Dewey are all right. You know, this story revolves somehow on Scrooge and I've missed him, but it's been an amazing ride. It shows the boys that they're their own person and to keep moving forward.

OMG! Huey figured it out! Again, Dewey is left in the dark about secret identities. SIL's leader is a bit too much . He's focused on so unimportant stuff instead of looking at the big picture. Amazing! PK is in the house to keep those Duck boys away from trouble. I think both uncles always tried to properly show them how to get out of trouble. :D

You sure scared me there with Huey, but that was so hilarious. His fangirls always follow too. So! This should put credibility on the Duck boys. Who would try to take them but Kagan's new partner. I'm still waiting for that miraculous Scrooge appearance. We even have Donald and his friends taking part of this journey. I wish to read more on Dewey and Webby! The topic was finally introduced full force and she already gave him an ultimatum. I'm missing those GP/DW moments. Wait, I never knew their age difference.

Jose's scene with the girls was pretty moving,but at the same that's so messed up! Why three girls consciously following after one guy... And they're related to boot. That's so messed up of Huey. That's going to get complicated for the girls and Huey.
And Jose's view on Debbigail is just so me! "his face expressing the distaste of someone watching a soap opera where his favorite characters do not end up together". Yah that's what I was thinking about too! I support Loubby and Debbigail, but in here Debbigail seems to be the choice that makes sense.

So that's another wrap. Magica is no more, and it was certainly a gruesome death. I also caught that it was Dewey's dime the coin that helped him back there... Now they're obsessed on getting eternal life and getting rid of the Duck boys. With that amount of obsession I wouldn't be surprised that they ended bringing Scrooge back to life :D Oh and that's how Kagan is connected to that weird group. With the ongoing investigation I thought he'd be more careful? He's probably counting that SHUSH will never get the leads that show his hands are the dirty ones.
Ah! Jose and Panchito are aware of Donald's involvement. Louie does know too right? I can't believe I'm only missing five chapters to finish! It's so funny that everyone guessed on GP's identity, but in this case Louie is aware of who PK is and the others don't even see it!

That's a relief for the time being! If the begin an investigation on Kagan they have the chance they need to clear their names. So about Gyro, is he still out there? We never knew where Launchpad was. And OMG don't tell me that Louie knows who PK is!
Webby is getting all protective over Doofus lol. So, to the rest of the Caballeros it is! I still find the Carioca girls with Huey a very hilarious situation :D and DW/GP is also so funny. Good thing Fenton was around this time, but then he'll stay with SHUSH... I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad one.

That was awesome! It did seem weird Doofus would go against the Duck boys and well, Fenton not being able to walk should have made me suspicious too. As for Dewey, I see doesn't even understand himself on why he's thinking on Doofus getting close to Webby. Mmm, what's the pairing going to be this time? I remember that in the time machine the pairing was Doofus/Webby. Though now people would go for Debbigail or Loubby. Come on, there's even Huey/Webby shippers out there.

Hahaha so much laughter with the Louie/Gosalyn moment in here! Holy cow, it was Fenton who was trapped in there. And now they know it's Doofus behind the suit. And there goes mi Debbigail ship... It sounds weird now that I'm used to the new dynamics in the series reboot, specially because Doofus was not a friend to the Duck boys in there. Webby picks this time to blush? lol
I'm honestly more interested with PK.I wonder what else he might be doing to actually guard the boys without the Kagan interfering. Maybe he's doing other things that require special attention. DW knows about PK, but she doesn't elaborate more... Does she know Pk's identity or not? I'm dying to know! I think she might based on rumours or maybe she doesn't. Perhaps she has encountered him when the first DW was around?

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! You know I thought I was crazy when Paperinik crossed my mind as the one who helped them escape that time. I mean, it didn't make sense because, if he were Paperinik he wouldn't have attacked the boys too. OMG what is Donald doing?! If he's experienced as Louie says him to be then it can't be other than Donald. When I read that PK on this chapter I was going insane!
His explanations did make sense and his observations on Louie were also on the spot. Where is DW? Does Gosalyn even know this?
Oh my goodness, I don't know where you're going with this but it's got me on the edge of my we know Donald is alive and kicking. I don't think this someone else taking his place. You said he's got only one eye. What in the world happened to poor Donald in the war that he ended minus an eye is just scaring the bejesus out of me. And his hiding and not with his nephews. Why? Does he know something that the boys don't? It sounds like it. Not even DW mentioned knowing that.
Train him you say? That's some very intense training indeed. If he truly wanted to kill him, he would not be there to tell anything. But he took quite the beating. Their real antagonists courtesy of Kagan won't have that mercy. His unorthodox might be the hero crash course Louie needs. It might be the only way to push the young duck to think and act like has never done before, forgetting the gadgets and begin trusting himself.
So, Huey run off after Donald left and Louie barely kept it together and clung to Donald, while Dewey is holding for dear life to Scrooge's memory. This is really messed up. I feel sorry for them, I have no idea how Webby is still sane minus her granny. When the boys recover McDuck Enterprises I don't see why the three can't look over it and let Dewey lead a business created on his own or as a part of McDuck Enterprises. Someone may be able to have the mind to manage it better. Depending on the plans the three Duck boys, they'll figure out what to do next and keep his uncle's legacy standing. I think that sense of loyalty for their family might win in the end.
Did I mention I'm so shocked and disturbed a bit on these turn of events. It's a dark plot, and let's not forget we still don't know what all the other baddies are planning. Magic, attacks,a secret helper and etc combo for a while. Oh and don't get me started on that conversation between José and Dewey. Really productive to make the guy think again.
The Duck boys are a real mess.

I was always asking myself who was the new Gizmo Duck, and just when I started reading the last part I finally made the right guess! Though I find it hard to believe that Fenton trusts Kagan. What in the world happened to Fenton to be mislead like that? And I insist, where is Gyro? And the accountant they need...
Huh... so it took Webby to make Doofus stop. What else is it going to take for him to find out the truth? And what of Launchpad? I'm very happy the brotherhood it's on full swing, but still heartbroken or Huey's resentment towards Donald.
There's too much at stake, but they're forced to keep running! When will they catch a break?
I still have not forgotten of rescuer X up in the sky, Magica and the crack they must find to unlock the mystery that ties McDuck Enterprises to the crime world.

What a heart-warming chapter, they finally got over all that squabbling and talked it out. It was too much for them and finally! Dewey knows of the GP. That was hilarious. Good gracious they threw china at them because they thought they were some gay couple having a feud at night. Not to mention how I laughed with Dewey shooting Louie in his costume like that. It bordered on ridiculous. OH! And I also believed it to be funny last time when they went undercover. Each alias they used referred to those other characters that aren't there now. But you used those other names for the triplets instead too. Haha I'm still having a good laugh on Huey and the Carioca girls. They're all over him and he always likes to make them happy without getting into trouble.
I don't know what to expect... they need to follow leads that blame Kagan of everything.,,and I'm still not peachy on Magica's involvement in Cape Suzette, if she teams up with Kagan it'll be very dangerous...and the dime chase would continue. Also, Gizmoduck. It just doesn't add up. Fenton wouldn't help someone who is set against the triplets.

Sweet! DW is back with the right crowd. Too bad that Gizmoduck is not with them but with their adversary. I'm feel sorry the Cariocas lost another place to live. With this Dewey got his wake up call to realise that running away is not an option and that he'll have to assist SHUSH and give them a reason to clear their names.
Also, this explores the differences between the brothers and starts answering those questions I had at the beginning. This should keep shaping every single one of the boys. His uncle had his own tempests to go through. They'll come together at some point, they need each other. Maybe each of them will choose a path, but without of the growing apart.
So what now? Is Jose staying with his girls behind again or he'll be following them?
There was a lot of back story from the comics in here, more than ever. Louie is still not reconciled with the fact his uncle Scrooge had a favourite...He seems a bit bitter and resentful because of it.
I like how Webby and Huey know when to make things stop before they get worse. Dewey's relationship with Louie has taken a strain, a very huge one. It is heartbreaking to see the two brothers have some bad blood between them based on their pasts. Huey is different, but at the same time he has sort of avoided the subject by living a different lifestyle... They all have their scars. Louie resents that Scrooge preferred Dewey, Huey resents Donald for leaving them behind, and Dewey... he resents his brothers for leaving McDuck Enterprises... quite the resentful circle over here.
What do they need to experience to get over it and keep moving forward like the brothers they are? It doesn't matter how hard they try to take control of McDuck Enterprises and clear their names, if they can't live as the family they are, it'll be meaningless and they'll get back to square one. It's sad they're not reconciled with the paths each other has taken. It's really depressing...

It is as I suspected from the beginning! He planned that to destroy Dewey and take over McDuck Enterprises. His own greed and his hurt pride when his former corporation was taken over by the richest duck in the world. He's the one who made all that business with the crime world and now he's forcing Gizmo Duck's hand into protecting him and going against Scrooge's great nephews?! That's low!
That's great! it's good to see that Carioca will be around again and his girls... LOL let's hope Huey keeps his sanity. What of Gosalyn? She's bound to team up with them one way or another.
This is just so unfair to them. They need to step it up and wonder for real what Scrooge would do about it. In the movie of the lost lamp, Scrooge lost his fortune to a wish and he went through a whole lot of planning to get it back. And that Debbigail moment, is Dewey even aware of his closeness to Webby? She's also friendly with Louie and Huey, but she's way closer with Dewey.
So, Huey ran away... still, there's no specifics over that. He has another account...Sounds like the modern 2017 Huey, always thinking ahead.
So, Dewey's so called associate double crossed him and now he'll have to face the consequences of angering the triplets. It's going to take a while to clear their names. What of SHUSH? They should know better than to just blame Scrooge's great nephews. We're still missing other characters... what is Fenton doing after this? I'm sure he does not believe what's going on. How is Gizmo Ducl truly going to help. aNy hope that Gyro still lives? Donald?
And Magica... she also needs to be taken care of. Dewey needs to guard those dimes!
I won't stop hoping that Scrooge and DW will become part of this plot!

When I started reading this chapter and the involvement of magic was introduced, Magica was my first guess. That was a very close call indeed. Dewey was probably underestimated and all, but now Magica will be after all of them. Is she behind the attack to Duckburg too? I see nothing from Glomgold or anyone that stands in his place now... It's a good thing the brothers may rely on each other depending on the situation. So, Dewey is the one who is going to take Scrooge's place from here. I mean, his brothers assist him now. Huey has taken Launchpad's place sans the ever present crashing, Webby has practically taken Duckworth's place along with Mrs. B role and a bit from Mrs. Featherby/Quackfaster. Donald is not around anymore. He was the patriot in the group by the looks of it. Sounds heroic, and a spin of those heroics have been taken by Louie. He does that unnoticed job of his (at least in Dewey's eyes). They even have Gosalyn linked to them because of Louie. Gosalyn has taken her dad's place too and Fenton already has a successor. The hard part will fall on Dewey, his leadership is to be tested and help with his qualities to bring the rest of the group together and not apart. He's still missing the point of what makes someone successful without missing the joy as Dewey has. In the series, it took Scrooge getting in touch with his family to get new priorities. It doesn't mean that all that enlightenment made him perfect, but it made him realise that his family was always important to him. I know there's an edgier scene from the comics, but in the story it will hopefully show what Dewey is missing to be even better and stop living in the past under a shadow and be his own person. Scrooge was his own person after all, he was following a path and not a shadow.
What happened with Launchpad by the way? Is Donald truly gone? What of the one eyed duck that saved the guys from being jailed? How is it that Dewey is a terrorist? And the government, what is it about them? Are they going after McDuck's heirs or they have a different agenda planned for them?
I'm also curious on what Magica will try to do next...And the new Gizmo Duck! He'll be waiting to assist Dewey too! That's something I want to read about.
