I love your story, but I hate passive Ichigo's who do not act and are merely acted upon.

I think this story would have been better served by him getting a part-time job and working after school, to pay for weekend trips to visit her in Tokyo. Seems like a very Ichigo thing to do. Plus, Karakura isn't that far west of Tokyo, and Japan's train system is one of the best in the world.

Having him throw in the towel instantly and pretend everything is OK really undercuts his character in my mind. I have only seen up to this chapter so far, and will continue reading, but this bothers me extremely.
