This is one of those buried gems I am always at a loss to find never got the recognition it deserves. This story has always stood out to me as not only one of the best Bleach stories I have ever read, but one of the best stories. Period. At least once a year I find myself coming back to this and marveling on the style of craft and how well the characters are represented, especially Sosuke Aizen. Well done!

This reminds me of an old drabble examination of Aizen where the author made the case that Aizen didn't start out as anything spectacular: he simply never stopped.

I love all the little disturbing implications of this.

This is a magnificent piece of fiction and I find myself in the rather annoying position of having to beg you to continue having Ichigo follow in Aizen's footsteps and giving up on his earthly attachments or having him give himself over completely to the idea that he is the one to protect everything and search for power on that road he takes after this meeting would be most interesting indeed.

Magnificent; truly spectacular. This fic does not only dwell on the 'what if' but on the 'why' and 'how' behind both Aizen's and Ichigo's personality; both exploring their canon personalities while inmersing in a slight OoC.

Well fuck. That was awesome.

I absolutely loved this! Is there any chance that we'll see their next meeting at all? You've really got a knack for the dynamic between them as well as giving some plausibility to why Aizen's doing anything. I really hope to see more!
